Why?
just think of happy things
Has something happened? If not you might have Seasonal Defective Disorder - see your doctor asap.
Explain further, what caused you to become depressed? And another thing you need to talk to someone about your problem, or see a professional.

U know i think u need a good friend, I think u might be going thru some sort of depression, u really should c a doctor about ur condition.

In the mean time I hope this can make u laugh http://www.the-jokes.com/

Hope u feel better soon : )
i say, find a sport! i love badminton. i play it every week, i meet lotsa people too. :-)

Keep yourself busy.it is only a period that every one goes through.it will be over.

Good luck.
really? with that big azz kool-aid smile on your avatar, i don't think so
What ever is wrong you need to find a way to fix it. A sycologist, or try talking to a lot of people, make new friends and do what you like to do

Fall Can sometimes be the hardest season to deal with stuff!
I'm loud and depressed
Why stay on here and ask questions to try and you through this low time in your life i find it helps been married 5 times so i know what you are going through
Make a list of all the things in your life that upset you the most. Is it work? If so, go on a course and get a new one. Is it your wife? Sit her down and try to work out your differences. If something really bad has happened to you then it's best to go and see a psyciatrist. Life is worth living and it's time to move on. Good luck x
Ok, just chill and breathe in slowly. "Breathe in the love, breathe out the hate".

The way to solve this is to find the source(s) of the problem(s).
You could write a list, identifying the all the little problems.

One way in which you can do it is draw your problems out like a tree. With the trunk- the main problem, the thick branches- the problems because of the main problem and little branches- the consequence problems. It might sound ridiculous, but no-one will know!

Once you've found out the problems you can begin to solve them and mentally repair yourself. Keep smiling :)!

(if it helps.i haven't smiled much today either) I found that winning a competition helps, so get involved in something find a new companion and blame your moods on hormones. :)
stick ya fingers in ya ears and sing ting a ling a loo. works 4 me
It happens to the all of us at one time or another. I have found talking with someone who makes me laugh helps. Or, doing a good deed for someone who was not expecting it.
mate. there is nothing wrong with you, it's called a little down at the mo. whats wrong with that? it's natures time to reflect, see whats going on in your life, what needs fixing or changing?
don't listen to fools that always tell you to go to the doctor, this is all down to you, thoughts affect emotions, emotions affect your physical body.
you said your mate went away, well that would do it for me! it's called "bored"
Depresson is an illness and can be caused by all sorts of things lonlyness chemical make up in the body sleeplesness problems with your life. Sometimes you just can't put your finger on it. the best way is to talk to a doctor or a counseler. But you must be honest with your self. The questions asked my be hurtfull and personal but you must answer them honestly if you want to get better. Believe me I've seen it all in my family and know what your going through
"arrh don't feel down"
We can all go through times like that, your mate is on holiday so you are probably bored aswell.
And if you live in the uk, it's that cold and miserable that i think alot of people feel like that at this time of the year.
All i can say is that it will pass (speaking from experience!)
And your mate will soon be back.
"Keep your chin up "
You get times like that enjoy them. Take some vitamin pills. like multi vitamins and vitamin C and Omega 3. In a couple of days you'll feel your old self again. When you see people smile, sometimes you get funny looks but mostly people smile back. Go for a walk and look around, see what you haven't noticed before. Birds doing funny things (feathered variety), Squirrels running through the trees, people walking their dogs etc. You'll soon start to feel better. When your mate gets back have a good laugh. Nothing gives you the 'feel good factor' like a good laugh.
sounds like you have had a nasty experiance over some thing

what ever it is think it over and sort it out

don't let it get to you or that smile wont return to the full
sounds like your having a bad day but your doing the right thing and talking about it its a start we all have good days and bad days sure your friends do to have a good gab to your mates have a good cry believe it or not it helps . good luck smile that works to ...
Life begins at "A" and ends at"B". Fill the in between with things you like. oh, and demand a bit more, you deserve that.
it's the weather
Everyone has days when they feel like screaming and not going out of the house that is just like and human behaviour/moods. Write down all the things which made you happy previously and make a list of the things which are making you unhappy just now. Try and see where and when it started going wrong. If there hasn't been any change in your circumstances from when you were happy to now, you need to see your Doctor to talk and see if you genuinely are depressed. Get out and take up a sport, exercise can improve low mood. The good thing is you have realised you are not happy and so have something to work on.
A crisis is a great opportunity to improve your life. Maybe your-self is trying to tell you something important.
laurance there will always be someone less fortunate than you, be grateful for what you have not depressesd for what you dont have
