Handling fear of none existent things?
i've had little sleep lately, and it's to do with some things i've been playing. every time i shut my eyes i'm hearing sceams and remembering parts which scared me badly. i've avoided playing the whole game yet i still hear it. it's not very bad yet if i had been playing it near school....well i'd be in a mess. anyway to sort this before it gets very bad?
Answers:
Things in your head are not non-existent; they may be real memories or real psychic stuff. Whatever they are, they are from this 'game' you reference. Only one game? Games are not for fear, so this is not a 'game', for fun. Fun things don't scare badly, they scare goodly if there is to be any scare in it. Being near those you trust is a better idea until you can make peace with those others or special other. In the mean time get excersize and work the fear out of your memories, so you can remember them without fear.
try read a book or something before you go to bed so when you fall sleep you'll be thinking of something else. or you can simply go to the doctor and get sleeping pills.
Face them. Create a dream character and go whoopass on your nightmares.
yeh ive had similar experiances after overplaying games. Seeing the screen before my eyes when i try to sleep, hearing the noises from the game. Stop playing before you go schitzo.

Clear up your mind.Is it your guilt that's recurring? If yes, then quit your game.
