Such a wonderlul way to spend a day
no nighttime is for sleeping!
Heck yes, a daytime nap rocks!! I do this on the weekend.
My grandad does. And I have since I started shift work. After 7 days of waking up at 4.40 for a 6.00 start, you start to need a bit of kip once you're home at 3.00pm. Not that it makes me feel better, i usually feel awful after an afternoon nap.
if i'm on a day off then yes.
Nothing is better than crawling into bed with your clothes on and catching 40winks- it's just so selfish and indulgent!
Sadly I don't get to do it much!
I wish I could, but it makes me feel completely rough.

I just cannot sleep in the day. Have only done so on very rare occassions when I've had mammoth hang-over and not much sleep in the night. But then, I wake up with a really dry mouth and the devil's breath. I feel spaced out and crappy for the rest of the day.

So, instead of having a nap and feeling refreshed, I have to stay awake and just feel awful the whole day. It sucks.

Day time sleeping tips appreciated!
yep, but only 'cos I work shift and will get knackered if I don't!
I always wake up grumpy after a nap and it takes a while to snap out of it.
I too enjoy siesta but only on Sundays.
If I ever get a chance to, yes! It's the ultimate luxury, but very rare indeed!
yes

prime time snooze time is between 2-4pm, sadly my employer takes a dim view of my pastime, so it is limited to saturday afternoons..but i do so enjoy it!
I love taking naps during the day. I always feel like I'm getting away with something.
it depend on the suituation..if the person work for night shift, they like to enjoy thier sleep.
I dont enjoy day sleeping
yes but it creates hazzards at night
Hell yes!! I'm a daysleeper actually but I used to take siestas in the afternoon to energize myself for a night of partying. This way my body don't bog down from too much alcohol and lack of nighttime sleep.
Yeah its great i enjoy getting up late and then having a snooze in the afternoon especially if I'm going out that night then i can party even longer!
Would love to but never get a chance to do so and as such my body is not used to afternoon naps, I don’t think I can sleep for more than an hour during the day.
I wish I could enjoy daytime sleeping but I am too busy to take naps
yes i do
My DH (dear hubby) told me take a nap you'll feel amazing. well I finally gave in. He was so right, I'm refreshed and long days are no problem.

But what amazed me even more . go on college campus and in the dorms entire floors will take naps and sleep during the weekday not just the weekend. My bet is they are night owls and their bodies need it. It's pretty amazing to see others waking their friends up so they don't miss a class.

But as a pastime, meaning everyday, most of the day. gotta say no. That is too much, your allowing life to pass u by.
ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Yep! works for me !
If it is cold out and the rain is pouring , and my hubby is home to snuggle, I can always wind up falling asleep watching a movie with him. It just feels amazingly comfy and even though I wanna stay awake, I sometimes can't resist. It is an odd feeling of serenity and comfortable different than night time sleep.
I'm a HUGE supporter of naptime!
no. i think that will be too much of sleeping.
if care is not taken you will find out that you have spent a quarter of ur life sleeping.
that is a waste of life.
i think on the average, 6hrs sleep is cool for an adult, whether night or day. but it is better at night. you are supposed to have been busy all day. except your work is scheduled for the night.
Definitely and what's more there are no calories or fats in it and you are not hurting anyone or making trouble - I'd say it's a winner all round!
Napolen said about sleeping time:

4 hours for Man
6 hours for the Woman
8 hours for fools

Try not be a fool!!
Yeah, I'm still at school, and regularly fall asleep in Maths when I sit at the back of the class. The teacher doesn't notice as well, because the person next to me gives me a quick shove when she comes near!!
Any sleeping is a pastime.
I do, when I get a chance. I can actually get all excited and buzzing with anticipation to get beneath the covers, and so often the quality of sleep is so much better.
The only thing is that too much of it gets me down: when I was out of a job and could sleep whenever I wanted, I felt a little bit like a loser sleeping when the whole world is doing something productive, so it became far less enjoyable.
