Have you seen this kind of ghost?
when i was a child (12) i was playing near a canal, it was getting dark. i saw a red/orange glow.. i turned to see a tall figure.. arms stretched out like jesus on the cross.. but there was no cross.. the whole thing glowed red/orange with no features.. it lit the area where it hovered. i turned away n looked back but it stayed there for 5 mins or so.. i turned again n it had gone. ive never been so scared in my life. im in my thirties now.. i wish i knew what happened..

I don't really believe in the existence of anything supernatural but maybe I am wrong. Maybe there is a God or gods or spirits or angels or devils or all manner of "spritual forces". Perhaps there is a source or perhaps there are many sources of experiences which seem supernatural. If these sources exist then it is not obvious to me what they are up to because they seem to be generating random experiences at random and perhaps not very often. Perhaps these sources are serving some purpose but we humans have not yet managed to figure what that purpose might be. So human beings at random experience strange things ranging from things that are perceived to be extremely welcome to things that are perceived as being extremely unwelcome. Perhaps your experience was just someone in the spirit world trying to achieve something. Perhaps part of that purpose was to put you in touch with people like me.
Another explanation is that the human mind is incredibly powerful to the point that it can generate amazing and unbelievable experience in some circumstances. For some people this can be a one off. For others strange experience are experienced frequently. Some people have to take medication.
But perhaps it's a bit of both. Perhaps spiritual forces work through the mind in order to serve their purposes.
I say relax, be curious and make friends with these experiences. Don't let them haunt you.

maybe that was only your imagination, i also experienced the same thing but the color was black and the shape was like a big dress but i only saw it for u know just a snap...
Maybe what you had seen truly is a ghost.but it is not..
I have seen ghost ,but I have never seen one like u seen.We use to live in an old house that was haunted by a little girl and her grand father,My husband thought the little girl was our grand daughter playing out side when she was suppose to be in bed,turned out Michelle was in bed a sleep the whole time.they will not hurt u unless they are a evil ghost
i have never seen such a phenomena.But I am pretty sure that it was a spirit.The fear is there but there is nothing to be afraid of.I read books on this topic,so I have some modern knowledge concerned to spirits.I would like to refer a link to you;

I have seen a ghost once or twice but not quite like what you've seen. The ghosts I've seen are just vague and dissapear within a blink of an eye. If you are religious then you might think that it is an angel or something like that.?

You can test a spirit. If there is a benefit to the spirit being there either to you or someone nearby then the spirit is of God, if however there is no apparent benefit then the spirit is of satan, the devil. If you are a born again believer in Christ then you have the power of Christ to overcome any evil spirit, because he that is in you (Christ) is greater than he that is in the world (satan the devil). 1John 4:4. If however the spirit is of God then you will see the benefit and the blessing. So either way there is no need to be afraid if you are a believer. If you are not then read Romans10:9&10 and do as it says and John3:16. Give your life to Christ Jesus and all will be well with you. God bless you.
well S***T when i was 12 i was having a shower and it was about 23.00. as i was having that shower i felt like i was being watched ans by instict i looked behind the shower curtain.I saw like a white figure like.. something airy..for just 1 second but im damn sure i saw it and note that i didnt believe in such things
