What is it that men don't understand about women?

Men tend to flock with other men for most of their lives, so when they do begin to confront women seriously they have no idea what to do.
Well, for one women are too wishy washy. You say one thing and yet do another. You are controlling, emotional and you make poor decisions.
I understand women, but most men cant understand theyre emotional changes
they don't understand that women have instincts. we can easily trust our instincts and in most cases we can prove ourselves rigt. It is what people of both sexes don't understand.

Most things. Like e.g. women cry when they are happy. Whereas men cry only when they are sad. They don't understand when we say we don't want a cuddle and yet we do want one really. They seem to have complicated us more than we are. What it is really is that men don't really understand themselves and so they blame us like they do for everything else.
Why they insist we put the toilet seat down. Why don't they put it back up again when they've finished? Very selfish.

Men can't understand why women can say one thing and mean the opposite most of the time. They also can't understand why women like to ask questions where there is no good answer. Men can't understand why women insult each other and b*tch behind each other's backs while being nice face-to-face.
To be honest men use very basic logic in most circunstances and women have their own individual internal logic which changes from moment to moment and thus men can't understand this complex and seemingly self-contradictory world view.

Women tend to me indirect about what they want. If you are driving for a long distance and a guy wants to pee he says so. A woman may say I could really do with a nice cup of coffee, so instead of stopping at the service station you bring out your thermos and she looks at you angrily. I guess one just has to learn the other's way of communicating.

As an example, men don't understand why some women find it so hard deciding what to wear to a party. They simply don't see what the problem is. If (horror of horrors) the woman asks their opinion, they will give it, and then they will fail to understand why this wasn't what the woman wanted.

Whats to understand? Since the stone age (thats prehistoric not the 60's) man has always been the dominant force of the sexes. Women were provided to man by God to cook, clean, wash, reproduce and tend the children.Now in the past 30 or 40 years T.V. has put the notion in their heads that their "contributers" to society in a business sense.That is until they get their period and get all mental. Just stay at home do your job and maybe you'll get a new vibrator and a pair of house shoes for x-mas

If women smelt like beer and tasted like Tandoori Chicken then I think they'd make more of an effort.

its not really about men not understanding women, humans have emotions are other humans cannot understand how one is feeling unless there is communication.. However, communication can be interpreted differently to each involved individual depending on a number of factors which are influenced by society.
They don't understand how we come up with some of the conclusions. For them it's as if they appear out of thin air. We tend towards a completely wrong interpretation of their thoughts, body language, acts, words, accents.. and it drives them crazy, cause it's like whatever they do, we will come up with something else that's bothering us. Most of the guys are nice, innocent and simple, and us girls, we are too complicated.
I would say most of women are spoiled brats and really mean for playing with men like that. We must be witches deep down.. :)

Basic skills, hey you go over their, throw stick at big thing. Yay it dead, group hug, lets get pissed..
Women stayed in the caves, and talked/developed speach relationships raised the childeren, werent as affraid of death on a daily basis.
When a man says go away, what he means is go away
when a woman says the same thing, she might mean, what do you think of my shoes, was yesterdays eppisode of big brother good, come here, i want childeren..
Woman have had thousands more years to develop the sixth sense. otherwise known, as being able to distinguish minute changes in facial expression, and be bothered to remember what they mean.
We completely get periods, but we still cant understand, how you can say things like, hay, i know im a ***** when im on my period, just tell me nicely it will be ok.. 2 weeks later, guy tells her nicely , girl breaks his leg, and hits him with a table, then crys then laughs then crys then does a back flip.
Its stuff like that that makes guys a tad scarred of women, and their emotional instability..
We dont get the shopping thing, or the shoe thing, or the hygene thing, or the clenliness thing.
