Where can I find recent official statistics on the gap between rich & poor?

Where can I find recent official statistics on the percentage of each nation's income earned by the wealthiest 10% & 20% of households, as this is the best way to measure how left-conscious or right-and-uncaring each country is?

Answers:
There is no single source of data on wealth concentration worldwide. Most countries simply do not have official statistics that are sophisticated enough. So researchers often have to turn to alternative procedures, such as longitudinal monitoring surveys.

Also, Gini coefficient is considered a better measure of inequality than share of income earned by a particular percentile.
