What do you think of trinny + susannah?
do you think they encourage poor body image by focussing on how to hide "flaws"?
Answers:
No they improves self image by telling us how to do it!
I'd rather do Lisa Riley and Margaret Thatcher.
I hate them.saggy @rsed cows.
i think the work for their money did you see some of the people on their? the deffinaitly focus on covering up the "flaws".
I hate them - the comments that they come out with would make feel sooo bad about yourself. They are the ones giving the public advise on what to wear - have you seen what they wear - and one of them is practically anorexic. I would rather look healthy than like that!!
i would.
I love that program. I think it is fantastic the way they can make a person who looked awful the day before look like something out of a mag. No i would love them to give me a make-over, my hubby as well, i am sick of him wearing a beanie he looks like a tramp.
They are the best example of 'Do what we say - not as we do' that I've ever seen.
They look shocking & I'm suprised non of their 'victims' have clocked them one yet after some of their comments.
Makes good telly though
Love them, but I don't like the hour long format. I much preferred it when they were on the BBC and before the show was extended to an hour.
If they weren't so harsh they wouldn't be good at what they do. They're there to completely change a person's style, and the only way to do that is to make that person fully aware of how awful they look in what they are wearing. It's all in the best interests of whoever it is they are making over, and they always do a great job of it.
Vile springs to mind.
no they don't.
they make people feel better by making them feel more flattering and not to show the body's bad bits (ie. hide them with different designs of clothes and accessories)
LOVE EM TO BITS
I'd have a 3some with them, I bet they're into full-on, girl-on-girl hot lesbo strapon action....
have they looked in the mirror they could do with a makeover
There is nothing wrong with wearing good clothes to make an OK body look great, especially when the people they help wear terrible clothes that do not suit there body shape at all.
Generally I think they are rude and if they invaded my personal space like they do to the women on the program I'd lamp them one! But they are talking sense. However did you hear that they have their own stylists!?!? They can't be that good, if they get someone else to choose their own clothes.
How is making someone feel better about their problem areas going to affect a persons body image. Staring at them in ill fitting clothes must be a lot worse.
Love it have learnt a great deal watching them I wish they would take me out with £2k and let me shop til I drop
nothing wrong with hiding our flaws, better than letting them all hang out and actually having poor body image who wants to see my post baby belly!!
no i don't think that,i think they encourage taking care of your looks so u'll look more beautiful ,if you can do that, it's always good.
poor body image depends on how people see and like themselves, hiding body "flaws" doesn't mean they think they're ugly.they wanna look more beautiful!
I think they ought to have a look in the mirror! All their show seems to be about is T +R telling people they look rubbish and getting them to wear something that they wouldnt normaly wear in a million years..condescending hags!
oh i can't stand that pair!
They give confidence to those who seek out there help but people watching it have to think of flaws they never noticed before. So i think its not a great way of giving body confidence however they can build confidence in the few.
