I guess it depends on exactly what kind of sex you're talking about, I'd be pretty miserable without any sort of sex life (hurrah for self-love!) but at this point I'd rather be eating something delicious than having a bit of the good old penis in vagina action.
I do find food immensely pleasurable, but even discounting that I'd be dead if I didn't have regular access to food, whereas I've survived for 23 years with no sex at all in 21 of them.
This is probably a myth, but I heard somewhere that if you offered a man who'd been in the desert for a week the choice of a naked female or a glass of water he'd opt for the female first, as the basic instinct of 'survival of the spieces' overrides the basic instinct of 'survival of the individual'. I have absolutely no proof of this whatsoever mind.
