What is the meaning of life?it has been on my mind a lot recently.?

Answers:
The meaning of life to me is that we are here to learn to love and respect ourselves for who we really are and to learn from our mistakes so that we can understand and help others in similar situations. We are also here to learn how to follow our hearts and to believe in ourselves and our dreams and make them come true and to shine our light into the world and help others without expecting anything in return.
To survive and ensure the survival of the species.

to learn things, and then teach them to others
your meant to suffer alot, regret everything and die painfully!
Wow, this is a deep question, and difficult to answer because it is really relative to the individual. There is no "right" answer to this question. Life is what you make it! Have a great one!
i could tell you but god would kill me, when you die you'll find out and that is how you are judged.
the meaning of life:

Life is a test, god gaves us life and choices to make. If we make the right choices we will have eternal bliss and hapiness. Make the wrong choices and you will suffer a horrible fate.
If anyone knew that they would be an extremely rich and popular person.

To make s good life though treat people as you would wanted to be treated yourself.

I promise that every answer you read on UKQnA.com is wrong because no one person out there can tell you what the meaning of life is. Refer to the movie City Slickers when Billy Crystals character ask the meaning of life and Curly puts up his finger. That is the meaning of life.
without sounding harsh i got 248 points and by answering this i go to level 2
the lesson is live it, stop worrying, and score credits by helping people
then when you die you fulfil your life plan, and if you so chose you can repeat the process all over again
I have no idea, i oftern wondered the same thing, i felt i had nothing to live for. Then i have my wonderful daughter who means the world to me!!
various view points - 1 - there is no meaning to life - you live you die - end of story. 2 - you live this life the best you can and then approach the after life hopefully having improved on your previous life 3 - you are here just to procreate so that life goes on.
Take your pick - there will never be a definate answer so choose the one that makes you feel the best.
The answer is...

None

Life is a freak accident and as is human sentinence. We are all here for no reason whatsoever. Life = Chaos
Why does life have to have a meaning, you're here, not somewhere else, you're you, not someone else.enjoy and be the best you can, if thats what makes you happy!

You don't ask such questions on the internet.

The meaning of life would ultimately depend on you. No one can tell you what to think and how to make your life meaningful. Anything people can say in a few pages would be limited, biased, even wrong.

It takes a lifelong balanced discernment and discourse with other people, with experience, with acting according to your values, to determine meaning.

You don't ask such questions on the Internet.
The mean of life doesn't complete by what I type but rather must be felt by individuals themself and when one finds that meaning completely one ceases to exist. The meaning of life is to find the love within oneself for you see my friend love is the tresure and life is the pathway to this tresure one seeks.
Life is a series of yes and no's, coupled with joys and sorrows, which in and of ourselves we can not fully understand. For this reason God has made himself readily available to all who seek him, abandoning the questions of what and why and adjusting their sights on the how and when. I urge you to read Ephesians 1 and 2 in the Bible. I can't tell you what to believe because that would be wrong, but it can help to give you a different perspective on things. In Christ you been given a free gift of liberty. I hope this comment reaches you in good spirits. God Bless

just to live life to the fullest and dont hesitate to do one stupid thing a day
"What is the meaning of life?" is a question many people ask themselves at some point during their lives. Some people believe that the meaning of life is one or more of the following:

Survival and temporal success

* .to accumulate wealth and increase social status
* .to compete or co-operate with others
* .to destroy others who harm you, or to practice nonviolence and nonresistance
* .to die having succeeded in your purpose
* .to live
* .to protect one's family
* .to gain and exercise power
* .to leave a legacy, such as a work of art or a book
* .to produce offspring through sexual reproduction or asexual reproduction
* .to seek freedom, either physically, mentally or financially
* .to seek happiness and flourish, experience pleasure or celebrate
* .to survive, including the pursuit of immortality through scientific means (see life extension)

Wisdom and knowledge

* .to be without question, or to keep asking questions
* .to explore, to expand beyond our frontiers
* .to learn from one's own and others' mistakes
* .to seek truth, knowledge, understanding, or wisdom
* .to try to discover and understand the meaning of life
* .to expand one's perception of the world

Ethical

* .to express compassion
* .to live in peace with each other, and in harmony with our natural environment (see utopia)
* .to give and receive love
* .to seek and acquire virtue, to live a virtuous life
* .to serve others, or do good deeds
* .to work for justice and democracy

Religious, spiritual and esoteric

* .to turn fear into joy at a constant rate achieving on literal and metaphorical levels: immortality, enlightenment and atonement
* .to achieve a supernatural connection within the natural context
* .to achieve enlightenment and inner peace
* .to become God, or God-like
* .to experience existence from an infinite number of perspectives in order to expand the consciousness of all there is (i.e. God)
* .to follow the "Golden Rule"
* .to produce useful structure in the universe over and above consumption (see net creativity)
* .to reach Heaven in the afterlife
* .to understand and follow the "Word of God"
* .to worship, serve, or achieve union with God

Other

* .to advance natural human evolution, or to contribute to the gene pool of the human race
* .to advance technological evolution, or to actively develop the future human
* .to contribute to collective meaning ("we" or "us") without having individual meaning ("I" or "me")
* .to die, or become a martyr
* .to find a purpose, a "reason" for living that hopefully raises the quality of one's experience of life, or even life in general
* .to live, and enjoy the passage of time
* .to have fun
* .to protect humanity, or more generally the environment
* .to pursue a dream, vision, or destiny
* .to relate, connect, or achieve unity with others
* .to seek and find beauty
* .to simply live until one dies (there is no universal or celestial purpose)
* .to participate in the chain events which has led from the creation of the universe until its possible end (either freely chosen or determined, this is a subject widely debated amongst philosophers)
* .still some do not even think there is any purpose whatsoever (see nihilism)
* .(This is actually an extension of the point immediately above) There is no inherent meaning to life, existence, the universe, etc. They exist because they can. However, humans appear to inately give meaning, usually many, often conflicting, to what they are conscious of. So, to each individual, the "meaning of life" is whatever they decide it is. In that sense, every point above is potentially valid.
LIFE IS MEANINGLESS.
I hate to break it to you, but there is no point. Not an official one at any rate. But doesn't not mean your actions are with out consequence. Spreading love is a good thing, spreading hate and destruction (the human default behaviour) is a bad thing. Based on that simplistic view of life, be nice. There is your point, everything you do has an impact, EVERYTHING so you either help or harm. Suicide due to the pointlessness of life goes into the harm category as it will destroy the lives of those that love you so it really isn't an option.

Let's pretend for a preposterous second God exists. Does that suddenly create a meaning of life? No. If Jesus appeared infront of me right this second he would still need to explain to me the reason for life and what he would say is what I said, cause no harm and be a force for good.
To evolve. We are here to evolve our soul as much as possible. To become a better person
to live and contribute for mankind
