Anybody sane and normal out there?
sitting here reading through all this junk and wondering to myself if there is any remotely sane person here?

It is all relative. What one person thinks is normal another will think is insane. The most amazingly normal person I know is a manic depressive. He is more alive than anyone I know.
Sane? Absolutely not! The thought of being similar to a mindless drone is completely uninspiring. Role on chaos and anarchy. Both of my personalities agree.

I often shake my head at some of the questions as well as how they spell and try to write a correct sentence. Some even make up untrue questions, then they write back saying it was a trick. I'm sure they are young kids.

Sanity and normality are not necessarily the same things. Most people have some form of psychological problem, as we don't always deal with issues in the best way at the time they arise, so they get bottled up, or assimilated into our mindset. You can't compartmentalise people into "sane" or "abnormal" categories. If people are asking serious, honest questions (not an easy thing to do, which takes courage) on this part of the website, they shouldn't be the butt of ignorant insulting bigoted remarks such as the one you've just made. Either ask a question about psychology/mental health, try to help someone, or visit a different area of "Answers".

According to some of the top Psychologists and Psychiatrists normal does not exist. The standard by which we measure sanity is also flawed because both aspects require a finite measurement.this is not possible because what is a societal acceptance of behavior and expression is different around the world and varies from culture to culture. In short normal is what is deemed socially acceptable. Although you should note that because you are questioning the intellectual capabilities of others it is a reflection of your own intellectual abilities. Questioning life leads to the path of enlightenment on a lesser scale but it will guide you towards your desired outcome. I hope that helps.
