Why is it that (some) people who answer questions on here...?
are aggresive with their answers, and are so uptight if you 'hit a nerve' which affects them personally. They also try to make the questioner out to be stupid when the know exactly what the questioner is getting at. Another thing, I ask questions which are of general interest and they are seldom to do with me personally.

some people who are aggressive psychopaths in their life give answers to the questions in an aggressive way. it is their behaviour and there is no need to concentrate our attention of those sadists,hegemonic and aggressive psychopaths.better neglect those people.

I think the aggressive answerers- probably are type "A" personalities. -They're the people who charge through open doors & declare, "I know what I'm doing- & YOU don't." It's just the way they are.

some people do not have the capacity to understand others and their problems etc,. Unfortunately, there are some people that cannot be sensible or compassionate to other peoples feelings. My advice is to answer questions as best you can to help genuine people with problems so at least they have several helpful things to choose from - and you never know who is reading them. I will buck the trend and admit to being one of the people who, quite possibly, comes across as a little aggressive in my answer sometimes. However, it is unlikely to be because the questioner has 'hit a nerve'. Often as not, the individuals posting questions do so to reinforce their own beliefs, (I do the same sometimes), yet fail to take into account that some people may not agree with them. Instead of utilizing an opportunity to learn something, perhaps even pertaining to the psychology of that individual, the questioner either ignores them or gets offended.
It's a shame really, because if people learned to loosen up a little, maybe this place could be even more fun.
You just can't choose the kind of people to answer, for example, your questions. Be glad instead that you get to see other people's attitude on here and be glad you're not one of them. I have answered one or two questions sarcastically and one I called dumb and uneducated.
Please believe me however that of all the hundreds of questions answered I did not judge a person, just answered their question.
There are some questions though that just cannot (however much I try) be left to stand unchallenged.
I believe anyone who answers a question asked just for information should do so politely and as well as they can, there are many areas of knowledge I know nothing about so I don't judge others who ask about things I know of.
If a question is asked sincerely and politely, then it should be answered the same way.
Questions which state opinion as fact in an insulting fashion should be just ignored, and I promise to try to work on this.
