Has shevchenko made a big mistake in joining chelsea?
Answers:
i think its the other way round
give him time. Drogbas on fire at tehmo so hogging the limelight
1 answer - YES
He isnt suited to the fast paced English game
no
in milan he was great but he needs time to be a perfect in Chelsea .
At the moment it appears so, I worry that as he has joined such a large team he probably hasn't been given the attention he needed to learn to adapt to the premiership because everytime I've seen him previously to Chelsea he's been amazing. I put him in my dream team I had such high hopes. As long as they keep the faith with him though he'll come good eventually , he just needs to find his rythmn
what a waste of money !
well i was kinda annoyed at first...but i think hes doin pretty well there!!1
Y E S
he should have stayed in Italy or come to Manchester United
NO - for Shevchenko because he is gettin paid thousands upon thousands of pounds to run around a football park playing like an under 12 would
Yes - for Chelsea. they are losing thousands paying this waste of money to do nothing but fall over in the penalty box
I think so.I mean he went from super star at Ac Milan to being Drogba's miss-firing shadow at Chelsea.
The style of football is so different at Chelsea and I am beginning to doubt if Shevchenko is ever going to adapt.
It has been something like 8 or 9 matches without a goal.that is not the Shevchenko we all know and love.and it is definitely not the Shevchenko Mourinho bought.
I must say that I do feel very sorry for him at the moment. I do not believe that he is any less of a player, I think he can't flourish at Chelsea. He just looks so dejected after a shot at goal.I just want to give him a hug and tell him that it is going to work out. I believe it will work out because despite his recent performances (or lack there of) he is still immensely talented.
have chelsea made a big mistake in signing shevchenko?.
I think so..
he was in a very good position in AC MILAN but he destroyed every thing
No bec milan was just falling down so he had to join another team to improve his skills
all big names who come to EPL turn out to be sh!t.
Why? coz its a sh!t league with no skill.
No mistake in going to CHELSEA, just needs time to settle."Rome wasn't built in day" Shevy will soon find his form. Difficult to adjust when you have been kicking a ball in europe, to playing football in The Premiership.
I agree with the little ninja. He's only here for the money..as all the foreigners are (n ot just talking football now!).
yes.
they all go there to strutt there stuff, its not the football they care about its the money hundred grand a week it wud take me 5 years to earn that, most of the chelsea team are posers, take cashley cole that says it all money grabbin prima donna
nah he's still a great player once he's adjusted he'll get 20 goals this season.
It is not just the player, but also the club, who take a risk in every transfer that takes place. The key to all transfer success is whether the player and team he is joining intergrate as planed and better the club. In this case Schevchenko, being a well established prolific goal scorer for AC Milan, was bought by Chelsea to better the team, by scoring goals. So far he has arguably fallen short of the expectations he has set on himself by his great reputation. However I feel it is difficult to cast judgement on whether the move to Chelsea was a mistake this early into his career. Moving to a new team, with new players, new staff, new ideas, and in a different country, sometimes takes time to adapt to. Only come the end of the season will we have any indication as to whether the move was right for both parties. Personally I think he will over come his early difficulties and establish himself as a prolific scorer in England. To quote a wise man "Form is temporary but class is permanent!".
yes
yes ac had a great midfield whereas chavski don't
