Was the Italian Grand Prix fixed?

Answers:
If you look at the decision of the stewards that was taken after qualifying, it seems that they were trying to favour a certain team and a certain driver. And if that was the plan, then those people got everything right.

Which annoyed the driver who was penalised and his manager. The driver and his manager attack the other team and the driver that were favoured. The manager of the penalised driver gets Mafia-like threats from the president of the corporation which runs the other team.

So I think there was something dubious happening backstage.

p.s. didn't give names in order not to annoy others
No,

It would be really hard to fix a grand prix and the way alonso went out suggested engine failure which would be hard to fake without doing some dangerous sabbotage to the car.
If it was, I can guess who did it. if they did thats fine by me
does it matter?
even if it was, formula one gets worse year by year.
may be we will never know
looked dodgy, but Alonsos engine blew so the outcome probably would not have been that different. He should have taken 4th place and not pushed so hard .. the damage would have been a lot less then.
Didn't realise it was broken mate.
Ferrari did a very underhand thing to Renault!
From the look of the TV / video that I saw, Massa was never close enough to Alonso to have been forced to slow down on his fast, timed lap. However, the rule book does say that a car on either out or in lap shall stay off the racing line if another car is on its timed lap (even if half a lap away I suppose!).
At least Massa scored no points for Ferrari in the Constructors Championship table - serves them right!
Alonso later claimed that his engine only blew up because he was having to drive harder to regain his rightful race position.
i don;t know, 10 years ago, people would argue that football was not fixed, but as we found out in italy it does happen.

I would like to say no, I am a huge fan of F1 and would like to think that the race was clean and fair. When your team is treated harshly, it is always easy to blame it on things like match fixing.
It does look a bit suspect. The IFA have set a very dangerous precedent as this will affect all the qualifying laps for the rest of the season, and possibly beyond. I can see one of the only ways to stop this happening again is to go back to single lap qualifying which is a lot more boring.
Max Mosley said that they had data from Massa´s car which showed that he was driving in disturbed air on his lap. The pictures on the TV you couldn't make out what make of car it was that was behind the Renault, it could have been a Midland F1 for all I could see.
Wouldn't surprise me. I've not actually watched much F1 for a while got tired of the same bloddy bloke winning. Especially with some of the decisions that were being made.
It is really hard t fix a grand prix and that too Formula One Grand Prix don't dream about fixing one. The driver are so highly paid what else do they need.
ya it was but italy isnt the best at driving america is
No fix, alonso was holding up Felipe as much as he could and the damage on alonso's car could've had something to do with it
It's Italy! What did you expect??
Did you know that the Renault pit team of mechs, the one that pampered Alonso in his last pit stop was a mafia crew and sabotaged the car?
Those were the same guys that let the rear tire bolt loose in Turkey!!
And, YES!!!!!!
Alonso doesn't get along with his crew, he has nightmares of them, day and night!!

Come on, you Renault fans have plenty of excuses for risking (loosing) the championship that you had in your pocket, but you can't admit that there are better drivers, better and reliable cars and better strategists that those in Renault's team.
Stop bitching and start to work!
Only if the Italian soccer team had a bus in the race.
OOOHHHH!! Strong accusations. Who knows, does sound very suspicious especially since Schumi is retiring in 3 races. If it was fixed, it'll be a major shock to the F1 world who are so desperately trying to keep the fans still there. I doubt it but if the race wasn't fixed then certainly the line up was. lol
