Old firm haters,?

you know nothing about us,we drink, work, and get on together, there are not running battles on glasgows streets,we are married, dating each other,we even gang up together against you, come to our areas and find out, your hate is born out of jealously,we are better than you.your hate towards us is worse than our bigot views we have of each other for 90 every match day,who has won the top league for the last 20 odd years ? not brechin,or any other wee team.mon da OLD FIRM..

Answers:
LF..i couldnt agree more mate..well said.my best mates belong to the other side..Jocko take notice mate and dont mess with the Glasgow boys.we DO all stand together when we need to unite.``come on the old firm``..Giggles yer an absolute wanker mate.
what a refreshing outlook you have. just one question what colours the sky on your planet. I KNOW QUITE A FEW so called football fans who are either rangers or celtic, and i'm sorry to burst your bubble but they even have different shoe shops let alone different sides of the street. come to northern ireland and state your radical view points we will welcome your solutions. catholics marrying protestants, what next eh ? you'ill be telling me you can buy bread from the baker already sliced for ye.

fudgie: i am sorry my opinion bothers you so much that resort to name calling. I do not agree with 90 mins of hatred on a saturday. Many of my friends on "bothsides" died because of this hatred. and yes there only crime was to wear a rangers or celtic top. If you tell me things have changed i welcome it. but its just a bit strange to swallow celtic and rangers fans having a pint.
How can I possibly come up with a reply to that?
Never before have I been brought so low with a few parries of a rapier.
Just one incident:
Running a childrens' entertainment in the ground of a provincial club (Dundee) the entire stand was filled with Rangers supporters.
The bairns (under 12's) were doing a Highland Fling routine to the tune of a bagpipe disco track on the PA system.
The entire Rangers support stood to attention and gave a very good rendition of 'Rule Brittannia' with accompanying finger gestures to the children.
As the kids left the pitch, the coins rained down on them.
This was only six years ago.
I have ever been at a Rangers game since then.
It was not just a few drunken bums, it was THOUSANDS of Rangers supporters.
These were not the cheap seats either so there must have been people of influence there, perhaps teachers, police, lawyers etc.
Many of them would have been parents.
What sort of people behave like this?
Rangers fans.
The mass arrest day cannot come quickly enough.
Families will never go to games as long as this sort of thing is common.
Care to defend this behaviour anyone?

Oh, and hate is not usually borne through jealousy, it is generally from ignorance.

update: Well said Jeff. The more people speak out, the more they will cower away. Stand up to these bullies.
Well said Fudgie! Glesga boys against jock f! Take a hint jock f and gtf!
I just hate jock f! I hate him with all my heart and soul! I want to snap his twiggy little spine.
Good question though and some nice answers from fudgie and andrew h!!
