Good question, but easy answere. The clubs get huge amounts of money every day from people buying the replica kits, people buying tickets, and any official merchandice of the club. Sponsers also pay the club for advertising agreements. Football clubs get loads of money from such companies and Sky Sports and FIFA PS2 Games, FIFA has to pay each club to use there name if it is copyrighted and it is very rare to find a club whos name is copyrighted these days. Heehee. =)

Ask Sky Sports.
I can no longer afford tickets to a Premiership game!
Well, for a start only a couple of clubs can pay that much. 95% of British clubs run at a loss, including all of those outside of the Premiership. Only two or three clubs make any profit at all.
Of the current big clubs, Manchester Utd. make their money mainly through global marketing, Arsenal and Liverpool are run at a loss, Chelsea's money comes solely from their billionaire owner.
All dem match tickets, advertising, sales and the players shirts that are sold in shops (why did u think Real Madrid got Beckham)
