Is the price for English Premiership football matches far too much for the ordinary supporters?
Answers:
You can bet your life on that one! here in Germany(dortmund we pay 11 euros for standing and seats cost between 22 and 52 euros,a season ticket standing costs 142 euros aprox 90 quid.
we wouldn't be able to go to the football every week England.
But think the players need so much money to live these days the clubs have to charge more.Late 70's early 80's peter shilton (forest was earning 1,500 pounds per week) look at Michael ballack (Chelsea) 90,000 pounds per week!need i say more
From a loyal football supporter
damn straight it is mate. not sure exactly per match for chelsea but the basic season ticket is well over 800 bucks. :(
Yes, football fans are being outpriced from Premiership matches.
yes they are far too expensive. palyers should have their wages quartered per week then supporters would be able to go a lot cheaper.
its been far to much for years,as long as people keep going though prices will keep rising, take chelsea for example, they are quite happy to pay there so called star players £100,000 a week, then charge the average fan who earns around £300-£400 a week between £40-£80 to watch one game, and remember you pay for your whole day out to go and watch 90 mins(travelling, food, drinks,fo. programme) shocking really.
Yea , Which is why i decide to support a league 2 team . I mean lets face it , its the same game for £20 Cheaper and its worth it .
the ticket price and price of food and drink when your there then theres the shitty parking and expensive fuel to get there..not much change from 200 quid for an average family day out
Yes without doubt. Yet they still turn up in droves, how is that? The kids must be going hungry!
It's not the price of the ticket that's the problem, it's the price of the round trip air fare and accomodations.
- Relegated to taped matches in the great NW! Thank goodness for Setanta Sports!
Us working class (True fans) are being priced out especially by the London clubs its a shame as it looks like they base it on the average earnings round there
Unquestionably... I see today, that Ashley Cole wanted 60K per week from Arsenal, but they only offered him a miserly 55K, so he joined Chelsea; get my drift?
Off course, you paying for their Ferraris. It doesn't come cheap you know.
