Well.. it depends on what kind of answer you are expecting..
If your the first place guy and the circuit is circular.. if you overtake the last guy, you'd still be first.
If you were the last place person and overtook the person in front of you, you would now have overtaken the last position guy who was last but one before you (the last position guy then) overtook him.
What most people would say is-
Since you just overtook the last position guy, you have just before him/her.
It sure does cause a lot of confusion :P.
