Why do some peole hate John Cena so much?
I can understand if someone doesn't like him but why hate him so much? There are other wrestlers who suck big time like Treveor Murdoch,Snitsky,Cade,the boogeyman,viscera etc. and u never hear people complaining about them. The fans are the reason he is the champ in the first place. remember even as a midcarder on smackdown he would always get the loudest cheers! and thats the time he actually sucked!

John Cena's matches on ppv have all been exciting and most of them are contenders for match of the year especially the TLC match against Edge. He is very professional, very entertaining and the biggest merchandise seller in the WWE. C'mon this guy can be bigger than the rock. Cena still gets booed by a few but also gets cheered really loud. long term WWE supporters hate him because the belt was just given to him, he couldn't even wrestle at the time. The WWE where so desperate at the time to bring in a new superstar, that they brought in Cena instead of building him up and giving another wrestler who had been with the company a chance.

Take this example. In the early 90's, Hulk Hogan is what drew the crowed in, but most people like myself, the lasting memory of the shows is people like Bret Hart, not Hulk Hogan!!
The likes of Randy Savage, Curt Hennig (Mr Perfect), Ricky Steamboat, Rick Rude, Bret Hart, etc, always made a better-lasting impression than Hulk Hogan ever did!!
AJ Styles is a great example of a modern day, but not even TNA gives him the chance to show off his skills effeciantly, compared to his Japanese days. He does impressive flying skills, but AJ can do more than that and if used properly will give him better matches and credibility.

Unfortunately. Americans have different mind-sets to Pro Wrestling compared to other countries. Americans want to see flying, ariel moves rather than the technical skills and art of wrestling itself. I guess that is why certain 'wrestling' fans like myself resort to other promotions like ROH, NJPW, UWFi, for example. Lets not forget the real wrestling from the Olympics to the likes of MMA like UFC!
What you must remember is that the WWE is the highly watched promotion meaning people are raised watching the WWE style. They are raised believing it is the best when nothing can be further from the truth.
Pretty much all matches today in the WWE lack many, standard ingrediants of what makes a good match. Many people that atleast understands the system of Pro Wrestling will agree with me here.
John Cena is good as a mid-carder. He is good representing the IC title or US title, but not World heavyweight titles, etc.
Whether you love him or hate him, Vince McMahon knows full well that he can get a lot of money off John Cena. Why do you think he is starred in Movies (Marine) and all that? Whether the film is good or rubbish. John Cena fans (or WWE fans) will see it regardless!!

However, the WWE doesnt utulise that sort of wrestling. Even if they did, it will expose Cena because he isnt capable of wrestling in such manner. You may not agree to that, but it is true.
John Cena is mainly for the teenagers, especially the girls also. That is also the main area the WWE focuses on now.. the teenagers and young adults mostly. The WWE does have the older fans respectfuly.

Hulk Hogan does have better wrestling knowledge than Cena. Afterall, Hulk Hogan has travelled all over the place to publicise himself. Even in Japan he does some strong style matches. He is certainly more skilled than John Cena but remember Hulk also isnt the best either! He is good at what he does and getting money in, but isnt the lasting impression.
Take this example. In the early 90's, Hulk Hogan is what drew the crowed in, but most people like myself, the lasting memory of the shows is people like Bret Hart, not Hulk Hogan!!
The likes of Randy Savage, Curt Hennig (Mr Perfect), Ricky Steamboat, Rick Rude, Bret Hart, etc, always made a better-lasting impression than Hulk Hogan ever did!!
AJ Styles is a great example of a modern day, but not even TNA gives him the chance to show off his skills effeciantly, compared to his Japanese days. He does impressive flying skills, but AJ can do more than that and if used properly will give him better matches and credibility.

Unfortunately. Americans have different mind-sets to Pro Wrestling compared to other countries. Americans want to see flying, ariel moves rather than the technical skills and art of wrestling itself. I guess that is why certain 'wrestling' fans like myself resort to other promotions like ROH, NJPW, UWFi, for example. Lets not forget the real wrestling from the Olympics to the likes of MMA like UFC!
What you must remember is that the WWE is the highly watched promotion meaning people are raised watching the WWE style. They are raised believing it is the best when nothing can be further from the truth.
Pretty much all matches today in the WWE lack many, standard ingrediants of what makes a good match. Many people that atleast understands the system of Pro Wrestling will agree with me here.
John Cena is good as a mid-carder. He is good representing the IC title or US title, but not World heavyweight titles, etc.
Whether you love him or hate him, Vince McMahon knows full well that he can get a lot of money off John Cena. Why do you think he is starred in Movies (Marine) and all that? Whether the film is good or rubbish. John Cena fans (or WWE fans) will see it regardless!!
It doesnt matter if your the best wrestling performer. As long as you bring in money to the business, you are going to do well regardless. That is people like John Cena (Hulk Hogan also).
To finish it here, John Cena's matches are okay, just like Hulk Hogan's were okay, but there are much better matches out there! Most of them today, to be honest, are not from WWE but mainly Japan or smaller, less known promotions.
What you must remember is that the WWE misses out on vital ingrediants to great matches. Chris Benoit, William Regal, Finlay, for example are capable of doing so much more. However, the WWE doesnt utulise that sort of wrestling. Even if they did, it will expose Cena because he isnt capable of wrestling in such manner. You may not agree to that, but it is true.
John Cena is mainly for the teenagers, especially the girls also. That is also the main area the WWE focuses on now.. the teenagers and young adults mostly. The WWE does have the older fans respectfuly.

Being a poser has NOTHING to do with it. Every wrestler 'poses' to some degree. Scott Steiner does a pose. Chris Masters does a pose. Shawn Micheals does a pose.. etcetcetc.
Having little amount of moves has nothing to do with it. Even the greatest of Wrestlers like Bret Hart and Lou Thesz kept to a minimum set of moves. The difference is that guys like Bret and Lou made it look damn GOOD!! Cena doesnt look good and his punching.. dont get me started on his punching!!

- Most people hate him because they think he's a poser.
- Most people who don't like rap say he sucks at rapping (I have his CD. He's good!).

- A LOT of people hate him because he doesn't have enough moves in his repetoir. But think about that for a second. How many moves does Hulk Hogan have? Four. Count them. FOUR. Undertaker has that many finishers! And the Rock? He at least has more than four, but he doesn't do them all. So if you hate Cena for this reason, then hate the two biggest stars (and posers) in the history of the WWE.
- A lot of guys, actually, hate Cena because of jealousy. Sorry, guys, but that's just what I found. He is hated because he has been the champ for a REALLY long time and he doesn't deserve to be champ. He can't wrestle in the traditional sense, his script is annoying to no ends, but he sells merchandise to kids which is huge, in Vince M.'s eyes. Same thing with Hogan.
Fans of wrestling the sport will change the channel to TNA before watching the soap opera which is WWE. Fans of wrestling will watch AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle way before Cena.
(Don't take this as a knock on all WWE wrestlers - guys like Edge, HHH and Shawn Micheals are very good. They just get told to push these idiotic storylines and gimmicks.)

No one believes that move can finish someone off. Sweet Chin Music, 5 star frogsplash, and the RKO are finishers that arent weak as hell and bring the crowd to there feet.
