Women referees?
Just been reading about woman refereeing Luton town football match, Luton manager Mike Newell says women should be banned, Now i agree with him 100%, ls there no end to this equailty nonsense.. I realise that most women in Britain look like butch sumo wrestlers but we must stand together and stop them infiltrating our game of football, the time to take a stand as come..Most women are bereft of any brain power, so don't make any stupid comments regards this qestion..Let us men unite and get these women back to the kitchen.. Im off to the pub.. Three cheers for Mike Newell, Luton town Football manager..

As a player and coach, i have had both women and men referees. It is about 50 - 50 on the calls from both.
As a referee I have worked with both men and women. Some from England and they did not look butch at all. As a matter of fact, they were quite gifted in looks and as referees.
I think you are sexist! women can do a lot of things men can do and they can do things men cant do!
woman's brains are the size of a squirrels'.
I semi-agree with you. You have to remember that along time ago, there was a woman field goal kicker and she was quite good. Now I know you said no stupid comments but I think you are stereotyping.
How can you insult your Mother in this way, a woman who brought you into this world and brought you up the best way she could.
You are being affected by a minority of women whom you seem slightly less than impressed with, however I have met the minority of men who spend their lives acting like complete cowards, yet I never stereotype.
Treat women like ladies and they will act like ladies, you only end up with a woman of your own worth....
I'm off to the pub
To be served by a woman no doubt, and while there you will try chat up a woman, then stop for something to eat on the way home served by a woman, i think you get the picture
I'm sure it all sounded amusing and clever when you wrote that embarassing aimless nonsense, but it just comes across like a second rate version of Nuts magazine.
As women have better peripheral vision than men, I would say they could make excellent refs.
Well first of all why do you feel so negative about what happened? Explain what happened at least (in your view.) Just because 1 woman went against you doesn't mean that all are the same. Not all men think like you 2 do. Now, think of a better question or buzz off. (Report me if you want but I'll be back!!)
Yanks just don't get it do they?
Whether it's football or war, they haven't a clue.
But no, women should not referee football.
It's not a case of equality or any such tosh.
It is about recognising the differences in the brains of the sexes.
Women can't play the game so how can they judge it?
Women's football has enormous comedy value but a competent bunch of twelve year old lads would beat ANY women's team.
The area of the male brain reserved for football is large and important.
The same area in a woman's brain concerns itself with heating root vegetables in the correct order, tidying things away and visiting shops.
That is not to belittle any of the aforementioned activities.
There are some angry women who think they can do anything a man can do but these are just a few misguided and unattractive types venting their fury on successful men.
Perhaps they would do better attacking beautiful women whose fault it really is.
A lot of women like a masterful man and my firm but friendly ways have served me well these past thirty years.
Any woman who has not had a decent meal ready for me by five o' clock has tasted the buckle end of my belt and still they loved me!
Football is a man's game.
You only have to look at the stupidity of women's comments here to see their ignorance of the sport.
From the " I know more than you about football' to the "I played for a girls team", it doesn't take long to see how silly they all are.
I've been going to games since the sixties and how many women went to football then?
None.
How many even attempted to kick a ball?
None.
And they neither went to games nor played because they had a better sense of themselves.
These days they do it out of spite.
The new name for a woman accompanying a bloke to a match is a WOAT.
Waste of a ticket.
Right lads.
See you in the pub!
What I can't understand is why women want to get involved in men's sports at all. There are many "female" sports that they can participate in, and if they ARE that interested in football, there are many women's clubs and leagues in the country for them.
I don't think the fact that Amy Rayner is a woman should be seen as a problem. The fact that she's a poor quality official, however, certainly is. But then so are Mark Clattenberg, Uriah Rennie, Graham Poll and about 20 others serving in league football at the moment. None of them are women but they are every bit as clueless as Ms Rayner. Think before you speak Mr Newell, football people will start to lose respect for you if you don't.
after some of the decisions made in the last few weeks i don't see why not-michaela tabb is proving a success in the snooker and pool world
no way mate!!
Congratulations. You have just won the award for the stupidest rant of the week!
basically. you don't know what your going on about mate. OK i agree.. not many women can play to the same standards of professional players such as Gerrard and the sort. but refereeing they can do. The only reason a man would have view of this being a problem is because they think women are gonna do a better job. Women have got what it takes.. not all of them do.. but some of them. They've got fast pace, good stamina, a quick eye, the mind to make a fast decision. In fact many women are fitter than men. So basically.enough of the sexist comments. Women can do just as good a job as men. and even better. And don't say how about the off side rule fouls's etc etc. i understand the off side rule 100%. and fouls and free kicks are easy to spot, dangerous plays and had balls, penalties and cards. it that hard for a gal to get her head round it.. so basically what I'm i saying is in a very polite way (as i shall refrain from saying what i really would) Shut up before you say it to the wrong person.
