Ryder cup. Anyone in Ireland for it? What did ye think??
Answers:
I was at the Tuesday practise day with my son, Colm. he got some autographs, but failed to get Tigers, due to ignorance on Tigers behalf. Why cant he be like a real gentleman, like Phil Mickleson?? We had a very enjoyable day apart from that incident.
European team were superp, brilliant to see Clarke do so well, after him loosing his wife recently.
The whole tournament was a really big moneyspinner for Ireland, brought a lot of money into the country.
Looking forward to next Ryder Cup in Wales. Have my accomodation booked already.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
wasnt there but watched every bit of it on telly it was excellent especially because we won!
i tink it was excellent i watched every bit of it. the fact that europe won put the icing on the cake(made it better)
The golf played by both teams was great and the Europeans displayed great team spirit and appear to have these matches placed in the proper fun perspective. The Americans are much too tense and did not appear to be enjoying themselves at all.
I was at it on the second day of competition -- saturday. Brilliant atmosphere even though very wet. More golf seen on TV but you cannot replicate the atmosphere of live sport. Great buzz between european and american spectators except for a few grumpy americans here and there.
