Is soul wrenching loyalty to more than one team common?

Answers:
Some people do have loyalty to more than one club team. For example, they may be Man Utd fans, but live in Swindon, so are also die hard Swindon fans. And as mentioned before, England fans.
Yep, England and whomever you support (in my case Southampton) but i doubt many people are that loyal to two club teams, what would you do when they played each other
Anybody who has a "soul wrenching" loyalty to a team needs to get a life
yeah, if they're not in the same league/dont play each other
yes, but it shouldn't be..i'm a man u fan and find international football to be dull...i support england but to be perfectly honest i would much rather watch club football
nope, i can't believe you can support a club whole hearted to more than 1 club. what if u support arsenal and chelsea and when they play against each other? support both?
i am from walsall and proud of it i always look for there results
but they have never been a big footballing club.

hence i follow man utd and i have since 1972.

you could say that there are big clubs closer to home eg villa wolves blues and the baggies. but they are my foe cos they make jokes at my home teams expense (and a lot of them live in walsall themselves). anyway who should tell me that i should follow villa cos there nearer to my home.
i would rather travel the 68 miles to old trafford than the 7 miles to villa park.
