Who would win a fight between jean claude van damme and Steven seagal?
My brother and his friends have been arguing about this for months so i thought i would get a broader point of view the fight would be between the actual actors not any parts they have played any points of view would be very much appreciated and the mor people that answer the quicker i can get them to stop going on about it

steven seagal would seriously kick van-***! no matter how fast he is, skill in aikido would take out most opponents. plus, i'm not sure how doing the splits between two chairs is going to help.

Segal is a legit Akido practitioner. Van Damme is a dancer turned actor. His moves look good, but in a real fight, Segal easily.

Segal might be an annoying fat *** movie actor, but supposedly he actually has some skill. While people do debate the effectiveness of Aikido because it doesn't train with resistance, I would highly doubt that Van Damme's ballet training would give him any advantage.
Both are crappy actors, who produce crapper movies. Steven Seagal, in his prime would kick the crap out of Van Damme in his prime. As martial artist Seagal is far superior and actually competed and received honors. Van Damme is a body builder and pretty boy. Chuck Zito 'pimp slapped' Van Damme out cold too without putting up a fight.
They are both horrible actors in horrible movies, but Van Damme would win.

although by looking at segal on the latest orange advert. he has put on a bit of weight. but i think segal would win. while van damme is on his knee's stiffing coke. segal can just stand there giving him a good kicking. knock out. segal wins in the first round.

Judging the amount of times Van-Damme has landed on his butt after a fight breaks out you can't bet on him. Also, when you considering JCVD's drug abuse stories, Seagal would be nailed on to win.
