Should west ham keep Tevez?
Im a west ham fan but am unsure about the signings of the argentinians obviously they are quality players but they have certainly distrupted the balance of the team.
Answers:
Tevez and Masherano don't speak english, and have almost played in south america for their entire lives.
These players can't even communicate with their team-mates. There's no player on West Ham that knows english and spanish to help them out. The only person that understands them is a fricken translator. Why do you think Petrov started so well in Aston Villa? Cause he was able to communicate with his team-mates!
Another thing is, West Ham plays alot using their wings, Tevez doesn't like crosses cause he is short and doesn't like heading balls. To get the most out of him they must pass the ball to him at his feet.
If West Ham continues playing too much with their wings I would let Tevez go and keep Masherano.
What have West Ham done?
Last season they looked like a team who could have finished top 6 or 7, but the signings of Tevez and Mascherano have unsettled the players enormously. But i do not think that is the whole story. All the talks about takeovers, selling the club etc have also caused problems for players, manager and coaching staff.
If you want an honest answer from a North London Gooner, I think the signing of Tevez and Mascherano was a cover up for what was realy going on behind the scenes. West Ham will be sold, if not this season, then definately next. Trouble is, with all the rumours and conjecture, WHUFC will be championship material by then. Pity, I like West Ham
It's quite strange isn't it....
Of course u should keep them , like most forgeiners that come to the premiership they take a little time to settle in. There is no doubt these guys are class. Its more a question of if u can hang on to them with the takeover not looking like it is going to go through. The two of them arent two fo the most sought after players in the world for nothing.
It takes time for anyone to settle in. You've gotta remember its a whole change of life for these guys as well as style of football. Give them a little time and I'm sure they'll be allright!
Yes they should but it will take time fot them to settle in.
I think the two players are fantastic players, but they will need plenty of time to bed in, even then they may not suit the English way of playing football. (Hugo Vianna and Albert Luque at Newcastle for example) I think since arriving they have disrupted the way West Ham play they're football and obviously with so much talent they posess it's difficult to leave them on the bench. Fergie didn't go for the two Argentines for a reason!!
It's probably not gonna be a case of having the option to keep him, i think it's probably in the hands of the agency that own him as to whether he sticks with your lot or not...
in my opinion, i think west ham should keep tevez..
that lad is still new in the premier league n he needs time to follow the rhythm of english football. i believe he can make a big impact when he gets familiarised with the game in england. and, why west ham should waste such a great talent of football in the world when they got him where many top clubs r hunting for tevez.. west ham should heep him..
no he is not used to the english football
I think tevez deserve a better team.
I'm a WHU season ticket holder and no, I don't think we should sell them (not that it would entirely be the Club's decision anyway, as we don't own their rights). They are both quality players (esp. Mascherano) and given time they will prove to be important additions to the squad.
As stated by previous posters I also feel that the only reason they were allowed to come to West Ham is part of a takeover deal. I am worried about any potential new owner - would they have the Club's best interest at heart, or would they use it as a body-shop/cash-cow. Guess we'll just to wait and see.
C'MON YOU IRONS!
I don't think you will keep Tevez.
The players are currently at West Ham but I think as leverage for a takeover from the leader of MSI. Reportedly they are just at West Ham for a year and they can be re-sold. So if they don't make it in the EPL at West Ham, Spain or Italy would be their likely next stops.
