Are Celtic better without Gordon Strachan?
Should he be sacked if we fail to win the league or do well in Europe?
Answers:
dude, give him a chance. just think, things could be much worse. you could have Glenn Roeder!
no ones cares
I have no doubt we will win the league, europe we will wait and see,but i think we have to give him another season to see if we need a change. The game on live here in new zealand cant wait.Hail!Hail the celts are here.Go the Bhoys.
who is strachan ??
I knew Gordon when he played for Aberdeen, and even then he had a fiery charisma about him.
He has carried this to all his clubs and when he became Celtic manager my first thought was "" what a great choice for such a great club"" so I would say, KEEP HIM.
I must confess to NOT being a Celtic supporter as I come from the East Coast of Scotland, and now sadly staying in London.
Ca-way the Dons. What a team they were under Fergie!
Don't know but they probably better off now they haven't got Gordon Ramsey
Strachan isn't up to the job he buys too many strikers then has to play them out of position to field them, he was fortunate the orcs were so bad last year and they don't look any better this year so I suppose he'll hang on in there. worse luck. go go the mighty 'tic
I have no idea what he is doing. I didn't think he was right for the job. Still think last season can be contributed to O'Neil. It's his time now to make a team lets see what he can do. What you need to ask is who else instead?
Europe will be his big test, he's had the money, got the players, its now up to him tactics wise, we should be able to counter the dark side,as they have serious issues, PLG asks after last draw 'what can i do!'
I dont see who else would be up for the job. He has had a pretty good run of success i think as well. The next area for improvement is Europe, and Celtic while they have to face mighty Manchester United, do have a chance of getting out of that group to the 2nd round.
Who won the league last year and who is top of the league just now?
This will be the season that will make or break the wee ginger man!! With all my best wishes i do hope we(celtic) have another great season!! At the back of my mind i know that if we dont do well I WILL BE ASKING FOR HIS BIG GINGER HEED ON A PLATE! but it wont come to that cos we,re to dam good for the rest! i,ll tell you more after todays game at aberdeen!!
I saw his football debut playing for Dundee in a friendly against Arsenal in 1975 when he came on as a sub and booted Alan Ball.
What a way to endear yourself to the Scots lads!
He follows a good act at Parkhead where the club is always two games from a 'crisis' which the rest of football fans can laugh at.
Weegees chanting at the main gates and making erses of themselves on television.
Always good for a comedy moment.
no absolutely not, i am sure he will manage to get at least third place in the league and get 4 points in the champions league,
he will make the semi final of the c.i.s cup and the quarter final of the Scottish cup,
how much more do you guys and girls want out of the man,,
your a life long thistle fan
No he shouldn't be sacked and you should give him a chance. He has had to change the whole way Celtic play since he took over from O'Neill who was very one dimensional in his tactics. Strachan has them trying to play football instead of launching high balls to a big striker and it will take time.
His debut last season didn't end so terrible, being Championees and all :)))) Top of the league at the moment and I have an optimistic look on Champion's League.Bring on Man U!! Mon the Hoops!
yes
Sellick wont do anything in the Champions League. At least they move Corrie so wee Chesney can see them play.
no! we got ta giv him a chance he deserves that.
BIG YES. NEVER LIKED HIM
I'd say no,but as Celtic fans we're never happy, i remember sitting in the stands listening to people complain about MON so it's hardly surprising people moan now. They probably thought Jock Stein was over rated too!
Gordon Strachan is better without celtic.
Certainly not he is a great football man.
Gordon came in after a guy who was a Celtic man through and through. He came in after a guy who took Celtic to the top again and also put Scottish football back on the map again.
He had an excellent first season, we're going to do ok this season, but Europe is the main concern. If we don't beat Rangers next week and get drubbed in Europe , then I believe he will be sacked.
I hope not but if he does, I hope they go for Tony Mowbray or Davie Moyes.
yeh bring back john barnes! hehe
