Need to know the main sound track to the film about Bob champion riding the grand national?

Answers:
I THINK it was called 'yesterday', and is on an Elaine Paige CD

All I can find is that it was written by Carl davis (Carl DAVIS: Pride and Prejudice; The French Lieutenant's Woman; Champions)

And that these lyrics are in the song?:

"sometimes when things go wrong we try to understand why the world keeps tuning and takes away the things we planned..and sometimes we walk alone.etc etc"

I was an extra in that film when I lived in Aintree and have seen it loads of times. That's why I did a search after I saw your question - I wanted to know the answer too!

Sorry not a lot of help but hope that helps?
