In the olympics what are the age restrictions for players in the squads,ie a certain amount under 23.?

Answers:
While professionals are allowed in the men’s tournament, rules restrict teams to players under 23 years old with the exception of three over-age players. ’No age restrictions apply for the women’s tournament.

At the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, the number of women’s teams was increased from 8 to 10. The men’s tournament is set at 16 teams.
Different sports, different rules in the Olympics.

For soccer, you have must have only 3-5 players over 21 I believe.
PROPBABALY YOU WILL NEED TO CONTAct them directly
Supposedly all but 4 have to be under the age of 24. When they found out London had the 2012 games they did a team for Great Britain on Match of the Day and all but 4 players had to be under 23.

I think this age limit is overlooked if the participator is an amateur (as all athletes are as they are not contracted to a team).
