In Jiu-jistu what is the belt order?

The belt order for jujitsu is as follows-

White belt (7th kyu)
Yellow belt (6th kyu)
Orange belt (5th kyu)
Green belt (4th kyu)
Blue belt (3rd kyu)
Purple belt (2nd kyu)
Brown belt (1st kyu)
Black belt (1st Dan)

The grading system is roughly the same for most martial arts with a minimum time between each grading being three months.

i dunno about jiu-jitsu, but in tae-kwon-do, the order is:

none
white
yellow
orange
green
purple
blue
red
brown
red-black
&
black
white, blue, purple, brown, and black
For Brazillian Juijitsu its while, blue, purple, brown, black. All the belts can have from 1-4 stripes
