Defoe's finishing is not the greatest and it's difficult to tell with Owen as his whole game is based on pace and he may have lost half a yard when he comes back from injury. time will tell.
to be honest the way things are at the moment it will be Crouch and rooney up front for England as Rooney must play and how do you drop a man in Crouch's goalscoring form.

if you aks me, who is good on the right side midfield?. my answer is bekham. Even though he is on his last years, he gives his blood for the cause. And besides, he is still the best right footed player i have ever seen. that is afcours his crosses.
owen is better because, defoe basically doesn't have timing. while owen is the better potcher than defoe or any player in english premier legue right now since vanistelroy.

gotta be lennon. even though with beckham playing we have the ability to play a killer ball as his talent to deliver pin point passes is un questioned, but with lennon you get a totally differetn aspect of the game, he takes players on and beats them then delivers the cross, and doesnt just rely on hitting the pass as soon as he gets the ball. it makes us stronger going forward and cuts more of the opposition out during our attacks

I hope and believe that Owen will come back even stronger and his scoring record speaks for itself. It is a pity he went to Newcastle. It would have been great to see him back at Liverpool

Beckham has been brilliant for England over the years but there comes a time when you have to move on and Lennon fits the bill perfect with his pace and trickery, and Owen is obvious choice of strikers as he is still only in his mid 20's and had another 7-8 years ahead of him.
