Tiger Woods?
Won five titles back to back. Phenomonal. Then lost in 1st round of the World Matchplay Championship. Did he lose on purpose to;
1) Watch Chelsea play?
2) Get in some sneaky K Club practice?
3) Have a beer with his mates in the Wheatsheaf?
4) Gone Fishin?
5) Suvvink else?
Answers:
Anybody with any amount of skill, can beat anybody in Matchplay.
i think he lost because he`s getting the jitters about facing europe this week,i think europe will win easily
watch chelsea play? why i dont know.....anyway hes on our soil ready to tee off........
Tiger Woods did put on a show. Like always every player loses its fire and it was Tigers time. I think he night be the best player in Golf ever if he can up his ways.
I think he went on a 'how to get personality' course, he's the best golfer that's ever played but also the most unwatchable!
Scared of Europe. Come on Monty!! ian woosnams barmy army!
He got his money for showing his face. The tournament people probably pay him on average $650.000 for every tournament he turns up at. I bet it was the Wheatsheaf on some nice sandy beach in a warmer place than Wentworth. Although he was at the football over the weekend watching Chelsea play. maybe he found a nice pub on Fulham Broadway.
well he did watch the chelsea liverpool match and was clearly impressed by drogbas gole but i think he may have calmed the pre-ryder cup nerves with a spot of fishing maybe he wanted to strengthen his shoulders with a spot of barbel fishing
That's life. You're not going to win everything. Surprisingly, Tiger's not going to win everything. I wasn't surprised that he lost; it's life. Hey, he got more time to get ready to face that Euros.
Also, it was in Europe, he doesn't play there that often.
Don't forget, he wasn't only the top player to get knocked out of the first round. (Els, Goosen, and Furyk did too.)
None of the above. He lost on purpose because it's the buddist lent/rahmadaad and he has to meditate every night and golf would get in the way of that. Not really but..
