Where can I get a copy of car construction rules concerning stage rallying in the uk.?

I am building a mk2 escort and plan to fit a 1400cc 16 valve engine in it. I would like to build the car to group 4 spec, and run in the btrda rounds, Will it meet the regulations. and where can i get a copy of the rule book regarding building regulations of the cars.

If you are building to Gp4 spec, then that is an International spec.
Therefore the regulations will be thise of the FIA.
You can buy the FIA yellow book from the RAC.
The BTRDA will let have details of any variations allowed.
to compete in stage rallying your car will have to be logged with the msa (motorsport authority) who come under the authority of the fia.when getting your car log book,a scrutineer will check all homologation dates for seats harnesses race suit helmet extinguishers etc.go to www.msauk.org ps.if going 1400 go with a suzuki swift gti engine im running a 170bhp suzuki engine by bill falconer.
