this is what i have observed. nobody in liverpool likes liverpool; they all like everton. noboby in manchester likes manchester utd; they all like manchester city. Nobody in London likes Chelsea; they're support is split between all of those other clubs. Of course it's not really "nobody or everybody" but i'm sure you get what I am saying. It seems like the main reason has a lot to do with "glory supporters" and so if a club has a lot of fans, all the locals seem to hate that club just for the sheer fact that they believe all the fans are glory supporters. In addition to that, some hate the popularity of the bigger clubs and even the internationals that are taking all the positions on a team. There's a number of reasons, but these are just some i have observed.
No, some people support Everton. Even though im the only one in my family who support the blues (they all support the reds) I wouldnt let it get to the point where I wont speak to them if they beat us. I mean lets face it - after the last derby result (3-0) they have more of a reason not to speak to me haha!! x x

try walking past anfield on a matchday and see if you can count the many different accents. Last time i was there they were queing to have their picture taken with a real english bobby.
