Can you tell me the scoring system used for single badminton games?

Answers:
I think you can still only score when you serve.
The rules below also talk about deuce system.
Have fun.
the two players serve a shuttle and the nearest to back serve line wins service. score goes on points scored by serveruntil sevice is lost and then other servies and so on.To total of 11points females andfirst to 15 for men.
Used to be that you only scored a point on your own service, when you lost a point the service passed to the other player, but they didn't get a point, then if they served and got points until they lost. Now you get a point for any game you win, so you get a point for a win on your opponents service as well as your own service. The change came because of TV pressure, it made games shorter and increased the amount of games they could get into a broadcast, it also meant that they could plan on a game lasting x minutes, whereas before a game could last for a long time as there could be several minutes, and many games between any player actually scoring a point. The same changes have happened in Volleyball.
