Should wales give up having a welsh football team?
they lost 5-1 today
do you think if they were promised 90 virgin sheep like the muslims get promised (only they get promised women) that wales will try harder?
also do they pay people to go to welsh football matches?surely they dont pay to see sub-standard players?

Welsh should stick to what they are good at, mining for pot noodles and singing(I know a sheep that says she had better) so i cant say sheep shagging.I mean losing 5-1 to half of what used to be a good team, that has to go down as one of the funniest things i have seen in my life.

Absolutely not. It will improve stick with it. Look at how Scotland have improved in just a few short years. We lived through the horrors of the Berti Mc Vogts years and the now the sun is shining again over Hampden.
No!! They have a poor team but most of them are young they need time to develop. 5 of their playerws today were under 20 and 1 of them had less than 15 caps!! They will come good they just need time.
It's the same thing with the Welsh side as it is with all the teams you support. You choose and support them for life because of what your team stands for, not because of how well they perform. I think the Welsh should hold on to their team as should Andorra, San Marino and all the other tiny nations.

I have to agree that the Welsh footie team are pretty shite. I guess though that football is not really that big a game in Wales - its more Rugby which is seen as the most popular game.
I have to say I hate both football and rugby, they bore me to death. I much prefer Cricket. We are lucky to have one County Standard Cricket Team in Wales - Glamorgan - who play at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. I have been supporting them for years. I also support England. Its the England and Wales Cricket Board after all. And we often send Welsh players to play for England (Robert Croft and Simon Jones have both played for England). My BF is English and big cricket fan so we watch it together.
Incidentally I doubt that even promising the footie players sheep would make them play better, LOL! I suppose all the really good players play for England.
I don't know if the whales could eat the sheep or not.
It would probably be a nice change from the strict seafood diet.

Actually it's a shame for the Welsh team as a couple of years ago they were starting to look really good, but recently it's gone **** up again. Couldn't believe how empty the Millenium Stadium looked today, normally it's packed and a great atmosphere.
Wales are the Team I support if England aren't playing - in fact I support all of the Home Nations unless they play England, when obviously I support England - due to the fact that I live near Carmarthen, so I'd like still have a Welsh team
at least welsh sports sides are made of home grown stuff,and not made up of players and management from everywhere all over the world! oh yeh and we have a stadium to play our games in.
