Do you that Steve Staunton should resign after Ireland's 5-2 defeat to Cyprus and who should replace him??
Answers:
Yes, he and John Toshack should both tender their resignation after getting right ol spankings.
Why not John Alridge?
i think louis you made it your own walsh should take over
Yes, he should never have been given the job in the first place. Stupid appointment, no experience, no ideas, no use.
Father Ted please step forward.
Alex McLeish.
how bout mick o dwyer, i hear he needs a job and
they could use kieran donahey 4 some height!!
lol xxx
steve staunton should resign straight away no uefa bages no experience no idea what he is doing but the FAI has alot to answer for aswell for giving that "muppet" the job in the first place.
not the managers fault lack of talent and maybe heart
i agree. its stupid hiring a coach with no experience whatsoever. Mick McCarthy..wait, no, we're not that desparate. I dunno who should replace him, but I'd love to see Roy Keane managing within the next 10 years.
YES YES YES he should go, not too sure who should take over though!
He definitely needs to go. It was amistake to give him the job in the first place. I was very disappointed that he got himself senr off in the last match because he can't expect the players to play for or believe in him if he just goes off and does something like that. I was laughing for most of the second half thinking about he must be thinking how much he's stuffed it up.
Yes , he should go now, and so should the 11 donkeys that he fielded in Cyprus last night.
Staunton went into this campaign with a defeatist attitude from day 1
Why would any current team member listen to a manager who constantly talks of younger players coming up.
If I am not mistaken I'm sure I heard in a recent interview he said, Dint think we will qualify for this tournament our aim is to get the team ready for the next world cup.
Translate that to, we are a bunch of no hope rs but with a bit of luck we might have a team in 3 years time.
His team talk must go something like this, listen your all over the hill, crap players, with no future in international football anymore and you will all be replaced as soon as possible now get out there and GIVE EM HELL.
he must have gone to the Dave O'leary school of management.
Get him out now before the rot gets a further hold on Irish football.
PLEASE!!!
BRING BACK BIG JACK!! Talk in todays paper that kenny Daglish would take over Bobby Robson's role. Not sure about that though, he has no International coaching experince and he'll probably resign after a couple of months cause he'll say the pressure was too much. Legend of a player though with his big ar se!
NO
