i am a liverpool fan and my boyfriend is a chelsea fan and need sum more great arguments to give him as its great fun but he winning as he always using the premiership against me even though i tell him that liverpool ahve more history please help all you scousers as i am natural born scouser living in london help coz his dad is gettin in on the debate aswell i need facts and figure its getting heated lol

what id say is chelsea has one the premiership twice now in succesive seasons because they bought it there argument is that look at leeds they tried to buy the league but the facts are chelsea bought the right manager threw as much money at him as they could,and he has done an amazing job but they still spent 200mil on players with a loss of 60 million (the price tag of aston villa)over two years on 9 players and they dont have the pressure leeds had they were in a do or die season and only had one shot chelsea can just keep piling the cash on it will take them 7 years to get back in profit which isnt ever gonna happen chelseas just one of romans toys ,and you can also say liverpool won the champions league without having to spend 100s of millions on players and tapping up and being corrupt liverpool have more history and class than chelsea will ever have chelsea are just new money and also are ruining the careers of certain players doesnt matter how much they spend in the end thhough the ARSENAL and arsene wenger are gonna show them how its done ,come on the gunners!!
in my opinion i like chelsea more, but if your defending liverpool you could tell them about how and what you think about liverpool.

Chelsea have instead bought lots of players, keep them for a couple of seasons, then get rid of them, denying a lot of teams the talent they have cultivated (look at Wayne Bridge - what a waste Chelsea have made of him, rather than cultivate his talent).

If Chelsea win the European Cup once they may have something to shout about but Liverpool have won it 5 times. Chelsea will not win the League this season nor the European Cup, their manager will throw his dummy out of the pram and walk out and their chairman will find a new toy and take his money out of the club. They will be left with a load of overrated players who they cannot afford to pay History wise there is no comparison between the two clubs. Chelsea had some great sides in the 1970's without achieving much. I understand they did their training in the pub.
