FOOTBALL, is there any scottish, welsh or irish players out there who might be good enough to play for England
i asked today with my work mates and we could not think of any.

There might be - but I doubt they would - especially the scots - and only english player can play in england!!
A healthy Shay Given would be plenty good enough to play for England.

On the basis of today, I think that we should ditch all players in favour of the scots.
Of the players who are active, you'd definitely have to put Ryan Giggs in there. On their day Craig Bellamy, Simon Davies, Barry Ferguson, and Robbie Keane would possibly make the squad, if not the first team. If you go back a couple of years, before his hips started to go, Roy Keane would almost certainly have been a fixture.
There is definitely 1,craig gordon in goals,far better than paul robinson,go as far as saying possibly the best british goalie.
Why would any Scottish players want to play for England?
1stly why would they want to play for a country they don't come from!!
2ndly You have to ask whether there are any English players good enough to play for 'Engerland'! After all your squad looks more like the United Nations than England!
If there was the three teams would have won today playing for those countries!
I dont knpw about other nations but David bekham should never have been dropped i dont rate him personally but he has something that seems to inspire the english and although i'm scottish i like to see my country as whole do well
