Rooney is, even in this day and age, very overhyped. Look at how FEW goals he scores, how poor his goals/shots ratio is, how low his assists are, how quickly he get frustrated and loses his head.
England need to learn how to play as a team and not as individuals. Lets face it, England has one of the best group of players in the world, but they rarely play well as a team. If England played as a team, then it would be Brazil who?

Yes very poor,a 0-0 draw at home with lowly Macedonia,with a team of so called world class superstars,Scotland on the other hand were fantastic,beating the brilliant French 1-0,we don't have superstars,but we have organisation,passion,belief and bottle,never mind Macedonia,I'm talking France,world cup finalists,rated 2ND in the world,(Brazil are 1st)you just know that if England were to play France they would bottle it.

Apparantley i found out on sky sports that without rooney england have a 93% chance of winning and with him they have a 53% Chance. And crouch has never been on the loosing side for his country, and every start he's had they have won except the Macedonia game.
