Do you think Spurs are a big club? if you do explain your reasons?

Answers:
Nope can't say they are. Maybe they used to be good. They haven't ever been in the Champions league and Middlesbrough have qualifed for Europe more times than them in the last 10 Years. The last thing they won was the league cup and haven't won the league since 1961 and last won the Fa cup 15 years ago. Is that the record of a Big club.
Big Bank account, 2nd biggest squad in the premiership and we have never been out of the premiership! Also on our day we can beat anyone!! So that is why we are a big club! We may not be as good as Arsenal but we will still win more trophies than them this year! watch this space!
They are not a big club. They beat Chelsea because of Graham Poll but then that was something good because I support Arsenal.
they where a big club back in the days of blancheflower but not right now. i think jol has the potential to make you great though
Ask any Chelski supporter! Spurs have won the FA cup about 7 times, never been relegated, we have a great manager, huge squad, still in Europe - but why are we only 10th in the league?
They even have a song by Chas and Dave, what more could you want?
They are the 2nd biggest club in England..
Depends what you mean by "big."

Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are often described as the "big four" and there's no sign of Spurs joining them just yet.

As someone rightly pointed out they have a big bank balance and a big squad but in terms of becoming a really "big" club and challenging for the titles and Champions League honours they need a fat new stadium. and then to fill it.

At present they're definitely in the second tier of top Premiership sides.
There are 3 English clubs who have a good pedigree in Europe since intercontinental competition began. Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. In recent years Arsenal and Chelsea are knocking on the door, but seem to be failing to achieve in the last few rounds of competition. Tottenham have an awful record of only having been in Europe 3 seasons in the last 15, which means that all the good work done by the Spurs teams of the 60's, 70's and 80's has been undone! We need to earn the respect of being a top club again, by winning games against the 'top 4' domestically and winning the UEFA cup again. If we do that, we can be begin to close the gap of us and the top clubs in Europe, Martin Jol certainly seems to be sowing the seed of that with his current squad..
"Big" do you really mean - successful?

If so, since the start of the Premier League then sadly no.
Only Man Utd and Chelsea recently can be considered "Big" clubs.

However if "Big" means tradition, facilities, trophies won since club formed, number of supporters, stadia and playing squads then yes you would have to consider Spurs one of the few "Big" clubs.
No. I think they are average.
Spurs are among the top Premiership teams, but I don't think they are that quite near the Big Four in stature as yet.
i think the answer your looking for is "NO" (not yet any way)
so you can stop asking stupid questions and stop getting paranoid you "STUPID GOONER".

ARE ALL arsenal FANS D1CKHEADS?

C'MON U SPURS
yes
our players mido and ghaly play on it
Aldo is right. Spurs have won more than Chelsea. So Chelsea arn't a big club.
there a big club because the Have Jermain Defoe.. who else do u need?
i think they are quite big, because they are in the UEFA cup!!
Not compared to some of them they aren't. Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal.
Historically they are a big club based on past achievements. I saw the double winning Spurs side of the 1960's. They had such players as Brown, Henry, Baker, MacKay, Blanchflower, White, Smith and Jones. They were a magnificent side and shortly afterwards Jimmy Greaves joined. Now they are a decent side but they are not going to challenge for the title and I would be surprised if they won any cups. Unfortunately what a team achieved in the past does not mean a great deal if the present team is not up to the job.
no, they did have some excellent teams in the past and are a good cup team (previous history shows that) but that does not put them in the BIG club league. Chelsea are not a big club either, they are a rich club.
no never, chelsea was tired after barca game. no one cannot deny it. we won villa 4 -0. we will win
