Here's a terrifying thought - how much money was on the pitch at Stamford Bridge tonight?

I mean, just on the pitch - not including the sub's bench and injured players! It had to be around the £2 MILLION mark. I enjoy football, but Jesus - how many starving people would THAT feed!

Answers:
The only thing ferrifying about all the money on the pitch is the terrifying thought of so Russians freezing to death this winter, because of all the money filtering out of that country by Roman and his fellow asset strippers.God how great is capitalism.
27p. All in small coinage dropped by the groundstaff.
ten pence.the ref used it to toss..
it was well over 2 mill.
even more than that i think.

but hey - i think they should cap wages and reduce the price of tickets.

as a working mens sport its unfair that it should be so expensive, and £2 for a pie! god!

you wouldnt feed many starving people on pies
try 127 million and you might be close.
2 million is wrong - that was the price of Hilraio alone

127 million apparently was on it - but id say more along the lines of 250million as most of them players started at that club
your joking there was a massive amount of money out there .
Abramovic had £2 millions in his pocket, not on the field!!
A more terrifying thought might be, if that lot were worth £127 million, why could most of them not kick a ball in a straight line?
I could buy Luxembourg with Chelsea's salaries.
funning, how many stving people would that feed hehe can't stop laughing. well over a mallion thas chelse alright.
2 bloody much!!
too much !!
In terms of transfer fees, the combined value of the 22 that started comes to about £170million. £140million of that was only Chelsea players. But in terms of worth, it would definitely exceed £200million
