I'm planning on going skiing 6th of Jan to France. Where should i go?

Planning a ski holiday to France 6th of Jan and wondering which resort we should go to. Need somewhere good for begineers and intermeadiates, cheap (for france), good night life, good scenery. Any advice eould be appreciated. Cheers

Hello mate, I've been to a lot of ski resorts in France and here is what I can recommend (The Alps are the best place for that but nothing is really cheap. If you're looking for cheaper rates, check the Pyrenees but it's not as good):
- Les Arcs (preferably Arc 1800): good resort with a nice feel to it and a good atmosphere. Enough bars to keep you busy as well so dont expect anything extraordinary. It's not the biggest domain you will find but it's great for all levels. If you're a good skier, you can take the cable-car from Les Arcs 2000 up to the top of l'Aiguille Rouge. From then, you can go all the way down to Villa Roger which should offer you 2 hours of uninterrupted skiing bliss (though I suggest you stop for muled wine on the way)
- Otherwise, any station in the 3 Vallees domain. It's huge and it would take you weeks to cover everything. Resorts like Meribel or Courchevel are great, though not the cheapest around. Having said that, if you love your ski, you will love it there.and whether you're a beginner or a veteran, there will be something for you there (as well as stunning sceneries)

In a word Vallandry, fanatasic resort, loads of runs for all levels of skiers and abilities. Personally I go every year there.
