In golf when is a stone not a stone?
Accourding to the rule book there is one time when a stone is not a stone when your are playing and you will have to know the rules of golf to get the answer. I will be very interested to know how many of you know the rules.
Answers:
Local Rules allow the removal of stones when in a bunker. In which case it is not defined as a stone
when your not able to see it.
When it is Rolling, then it is a Rock group.

The Definition of “Loose Impediments” states that a stone is a loose impediment if it is not “solidly embedded.” When is a stone solidly embedded?
If a stone is partially embedded and may be picked up with ease, it is a loose impediment. When there is doubt as to whether a stone is solidly embedded or not, it should not be removed.
You can move the stone or anything else if it isn't stuck in the ground.
Anything that is stuck/attached to the ground is not allowed to be moved.
