Does Football Need The Use Of Technology To Help Referees?
Answers:
Yes. Blackburn had three bad decisions over the past two weeks, the goal that never was against Bolton and two bad penalty decisions against Villa one against us that was given and one for us that wasn't.
Although it should only be for things like dubious penalties and 'did that ball cross the line?' decisions. Not things like offsides, corners, throw-ins etc.
Yes then the refs might get a break from abuse.
Definatley - they need video footage but it would hold up the game.
as long as it doesn't slow down the game.
If we can do it we should use it. The amount of money on the tables means that we have to start using technology to make the crucial decisions. Why can one man's error cost a team so much.
People argue that it will slow down the game, but this isn't the case in rugby, cricket or tennis. I agree there has to be some strict rule put in place and managers can't stop the game every two minutes because they're unhappy, can you imagine how long a Chelsea Bolton take to finish with their whinging managers.
But something has to be done, plus it'll stop the diving and will improve the game as a spectacle
In some cases yes like has the ball gone over the line but this would give people less things to talk about in the pub. I like it how it is now.
YES!
Just using West Ham as an example, there's many important decisions that have been made wrongly!
We would have gone up a season earlier if technology was used to bring justice!
No! Definately not!
Football is a natural game that is bound to have a few human errors! These things even themselves out throughout the year. Most people campaigning for this are usually just bitter supporters from small teams :D
The players need to stop cheating and play fair, then the ref will have it easier.
Yes,to avoid unneccessary yello cards and red cards
