Answers:
There will be an increase in off plan property buying, along with the fraud that can go with it, overhyping of prices on everything, from tea to tower blocks. Huge traffic jams, the brits are experts at that, crime will increase due to the pure number of people of course, but the victims will most likely be the tourists. business will suffer, because no-one will be able to get to work due to the traffic jams and so on. Been a long time since the brits had any success at much on a large scale, lets face it, they are responsible for inventing cricket, football, rugby, tennis, and are crap at all of them!
The Spanish olympics in Barcelona went ok, was there when it happened, luckily they had a road infrastructure capable of handling it at the time, if you have tried driving around london in the past 10 years, you will understand the problems they face.

If you are in London, be good enough to turn the lights off when you leave.
Terrorism heightened risks and the rising costs - fancy thinking "they" don't need to budget for VAT when the rest of us certainly do.
People being forced from their allotments which have been there for decades and also businesses having to move and pay the associated costs involved - in fact, if it had gone to France we could have all visited the Games for free (paid for by the Gov) and it would be costing the country less!
The city will get very crowded but the economy will be in advantage cause every tourist that will come to London will spend money there.I think that security will get more tight. It's possible that the crime rate will decrease cause the police men will be more vigilante than they usually are!
london is to expensive, it would cost an average working man one months salary just for a weeks accomadation. not including food, travel, tickets, pleasure, etc. most people just can't afford it
The main disadvantage will be the fact that spending on transport infrastructure and sporting facilities for the whole UK will be sacrificed so that it can be spent on one city.
the weather; overcrowding of the very narrow streets, fear of the transit being blown up; traffic jams in the channel tunnel, possibility of low income people being pushed out.
