Jet Li vs Bruce Lee?
This is a serious question.
If they were both in their prime.
Who would win and how long would the fight last?
I don't want any answers like: 'Jet Li wouldn't last 5 minutes' or 'Bruce Lee is gay'.

bruce lee is very cocky..likes to show off what he can do.strength .speed.but..jet li is very low profile and humble.to me jet li might win cause he studied martial art from temple in china where the most martial art came from.the authentic style..trained very2 discipline.however jet li is not the type who likes to show off or talks about his physical,speed or martial art training..indeed i he is very knowdlegable on all kinds of weapon.uses 3 stick nunchakas better even than bruce lee..well bruce can show all the stuff in america and hong kong.but in china.he has no chance.as there are many MA from shoalin as good or even better and faster than him.i saw it myself when i went to china.their demonstration but nowadays i ever seen a man doing 1 finger push up without even using his thumb.and weighing even heavier than bruce.very strong finger bones i can say.bruce lee is good but not the best.jet li can also do a lot of amazaing martial art feats..but it wasnt documentated

the fight would last until one of them passed out with fatigue, my money would be on Bruce though.

It would be a very good fight but I have to go with Bruce Lee. This guy was something special. In his prime and before his injuries, he was said to be about 3 times faster than Jet Li and hit with 96% of his total power less than 4 inches off the shoulder. I cannot provide you with source links as this is from reading materials I read some time back.

I would bet my money on Bruce Lee,he was faster than Jet,the cameras couldn't keep up with Bruce's moves,so they had to show it in slow motion,to capture the moment.Sure the fight would last longer than 5 minutes but not more than 10 minutes.They would both tire out due to fatigue.
As far as I know, Jet Li knows Shoulin Kung Fu. But Bruce assimilated from different arts and really studied them. Keeping what is useful and discarding what is not. Bruce Lee devoted his life to martial arts training aside from being an actor.
But, Jet Li? He's a martial artist, I'll give you that. But is he as good as Bruce? I highly doubt that. I mean, while Bruce was still alive, stories circulated about what people saw he could do. While he was still alive, and more so when he passed. I hear nothing about Jet Li's prowess, no documentation, no nothing.
Both must be good fighters. It should be a good fight. But, I would probably see Jet Li doing steps 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and so on. While Bruce would go for the sweet spot (bam!) and render him dizzy in no time.

My bet would be on Bruce Lee. Throughout his career he showed an adaptability, especially during real competition, that would give him the edge over even a master of any particular style. In all honesty, at the height of his career, he was in much better shape and therefore would not wear down as quickly. as far as the length of the fight, if it was a streetfight (nonstop) it might go 10 minutes however if it was a ring fight I would hazard a guess of, assuming 3 minute rounds, 11 rounds. It would depend on how long it took one or the other to find that weakness in the other to exploit. This is also assuming that we are talking hand to hand here, no weapons. The only way I would see Jet Li win is for him to make the fight very close (proximity) and use his superior size and more grapple Bruce Lee. With any distance the advantage is Bruce's though based on the fact that he was faster.
As an answer to an earlier answer, Bruce Lee defeated Chuck Norris 4 out of the 5 times they faced each other in competition. The 5th match was called a draw.
I watched Bruce Lee fight in a demonstrations in the late 60's and feel he would have the edge over Jet Li, though it would be close
Bruce,would win hands down.I've read books about Jun fan jeet kune do,and did it for about 6-7 months,but didn't have time to do it regularly.The point of J.F.J.K.D is to end the fight. eg.striking,joint destruction,hitting pressure points, etc.

besides jet li mainly did/does wushu kung fu , it is not realy a combat martial arts it is more for show.

If they had to fight each other probably Bruce. It is unknown how long the fight will last. It's quite debatable. But because they are both martial artists and know discipline and respect they would get along and practice with each other, perhaps as if they were brothers.
