Who would win a fight a boxer or a tae kwon do master?

Answers:
Dont care. I am submission fighter. I put them both in a bone crunching leg lock!

They'll be tapping in seconds!

Ha ahaaaa!
a tae kwon do master would rip a boxer apart.
FIGHT ME. I CHOP YOUR LEGS OFF!
the one left standing...it's an even fight.the better man would win, or the better trained man..
Well boxers fight with their fists.
A tae kwon do master will be able to fight with every part of his body.
You figure it out.
tae kwon do master
A very good boxer will be able to beat up a Taekwondo novice and a very good Taekwondo expert will be able to beat up a novice boxer. So it all depends on the person. You can't really say Boxing is better or Taekwondo .I think both are very different from each other.Like you can't compare an apple with an orange.
the master
tkd would win. he would know how to better use his legs and kick the boxer in his head. the boxer would only punch and advance.
In a boxing match? A martial Arts fight? or a street brawl?

If there is rules to the fight the outcome could differ.
I think that the tae kwon do master would win..
Well they do have boxers and martial artist in Mortal Kombat II
it really depends on the rules of the fight. if it is "no holds barred", then obviously the tae kwon do master has extra weapons available in the arsenal. If its hands only, then the tae kwon do master has two less weapons, and consequently, fights someone with primary skills in their hands.

That being said, I have often wondered why boxers do not try to deflect more punches thrown at them like martial artists do. It is not against boxing rules to do so. redirecting energy and counterpunching seems to me to be a very effective strategy.
i assume you are talking about a straight brawl, rather than any rule based sport. in this case, the TKD would have an advantage with his feet. however a boxer has an advantage in that he actually fights during his training- at the very least he would be able to take a lot more punishment than the TKD person.
Danny Gunner had a good point. The boxer would be tougher because he gets to fight properly during training. The TKD master would obviously have a broader range of tools, but we all know a fight can end at any time with one good blow, so it could go either way.
with out a weapon the boxer for sure with weapons maybe the master?
It depends on the quality and frequency of each mans training.
I know "masters" who bought their title so I do not put much stock into this word.

Style means nothing. Rank means nothin.
Quality and frequency of training mean everything.
Depends on the level of training, and the fighter definitely boxing is ver profiecient but a boxer that has not cross trained will not be good at defending his legs where as a taekwando expert would know how to block almost everything. but even than chances are the boxer could break the taekwando experts arems with punches so once again depends on the martial artist
Interesting question. Within boxing you have different body weights as well as levels. Within Tae Kwon Do you have different levels of capability and skill. Both train, but it is up to the individual how much and how hard they train, but I would argue that true Tae Kwon Do masters would be more agile than a boxer and able to evade more than a boxer - so my money is on the martial arts!
I'll answer this simple. TKD master, provided he knows how to punch.
well if you let them fight in a phone booth taekwondo wont have a chance because the boxer knows how to nickle and dime an opponent but if you let them fight in an open space the boxer only has a boxers chance granting that he has a knock-out power
again it's all in the individual's training, in a fight on the street, theTKD master would moer than likely win but prob'ly would not see the need in fighting the boxer altogether and walk away unless the boxer just didn't get the idea and kept pushing the issue. if it was in a boxing ring and the TKD master was not allowed to use his kicking techniques; again it goes back to the individual fighter's level of training in punching and countering techniques.
TKD
Are u like 4? Why ask dumb questions with no point. Its like ur asking, "what weighs more a pound of feathers or a pound of gold?" The better fighter is always the conditioned fighter. Now a days u see 5 year olds running around with black belts. Does that mean they can take on Mike Tyson? HAHAHH! THis question was poorly written, I hope u know that!
Gloved or barefisted? Weapons or not? This is a tough call, but boxing conditions you way WAY better than martial arts training for brawls.
Boxers are so much fitter than Tae Kwon do practitioners because of their relentless training regime, however a TKD opponent is a technically better fighter
