Will Chevchenko ever perform to his potential while playing for Chelsea?
especially as Drogba seems to have seen Chevchenkos arrival as a potential threat to his place and has been on fire since. Great for the team I think!
Answers:
Drogba has upped his game because he is frightened of the competition.
As for Shevchenko, I read an interesting article in a football magazine recently that claimed that his and Ballack's signings were orchestrated by the Chairman and not the manager. Perhaps this might be part of the problem. I can't imagine Mourinho deliberately wanting a player to do badly so I can only assume that he has yet to fit in with how the rest of the team plays.
As a Liverpool fan, I certainly hope not.
it will take him a while to settle into the premier league, it is a tough league, you have to remember that he has played in Italy for soooo many years, once he is settled the goals will come pouring in (God i am being nice about Chelsea and i am a Barcelona fan)
why ask when you know the boy is pasted his peak.
No
He only ever played in Ukraine & Italy. So at the age of 30 he's gone from the slowest league in Europe to the fastest. It normally takes foreign players over a year to get used to our pace, but he's too old to adjust to our league.
He'll only be at Chelsea for one season.
Maybe yes, but not that early.
You know Italian Serie-A has a completely different atmosphere from EPL. EPL definitely has a 'faster' style in the matches, so maybe he just hasn't got used to this yet.. He can't really do what he did in Serie-A because it's not the same with EPL..
But since Mourinho seems to be trusting him that bad, I think ONE DAY he'll reach that phrase when he can score goals and stuff..
Now, we'll just have to wait and see.
shevchenkho will surely even though it will take time and dont throw away drogba so ssssssssssssssssssoooooooooooo.
get that im a chelsea fan and no way im gonna admit what u say
his beginning wasn't good but i think he'll be one of the best players in the men's premiere league he's not an easy player
The problem with Sheva is that he's always played the lead striker when he was in Milan. But right now, he's second and playing off someone else. And he's perfect at doing that. If Mourinho gives him a more leading role, then I'm sure he'd score.
Doesn't help that Drogba's playing the best football of his career.
No - by the time he gets used to the english game he will be too old to do it as he used to. Oh and bye the way check out his goal scoring record it has consistantly decressed each year!
I said it to someone before and I'll say it again, now.
He'll get maybe score 1 or 2 goals, till he meets my team West Ham, then he'll score 2 that game, and end up top goal scorer.
He didn't believe me, wait and see.
It seems to me chelsea develop a ormation for the players, not the players forming the formation. I mean a 3-3-4 can be a weird formation. Shevagol is playing as a near winger some of the time. How can he score many from the wing?
not when manutd are around
i don't think he will sorry to say .i won't slag him cos he plays for the team i've suported since 1966 .but i like big strong centre forwords who can give it and take it .
no never its 2 fast for him
not whilst arguing with ballack and drogba!!!!
How can a traitor from Milan do anything good for the club?
Who the hell is Chevchenko?
I think once he has had time to really establish himself at Chelsea, he will become a great asset to the Chelsea team.
Henry will live up to his potential like he does year in year out oh wait who are we talking about again oh henry yes COME ON GOONERS!
P.S Shevchenco will be a good buy for chelsea as soon as he finds his feet whenever that is
