Why isCHEASEA making loss yet it is has one of richest men in the world?

Answers:
You mean CHELSEA?
The club bought players for high prices, and then sells them for low prices a few years later.
And they've spent A LOT of money buying some players that, at last, will only be sitting on the subtstitutes' bench during the whole season.
I don't know, but the owner himself doesn't seem to mind this loss.
Cheasea??
Probably because the Russian, like you, can't spell properly!..TRY AGAIN
Because of the madness to have a star for in the team.
Loss is only to the shareholders & fans not to the club or its functionaries.
I'm asuming you mean chelsea and just because roman abramovic is in charge, he's not pilling all of his money into the club, its just a 'normal' business with outgoings such as players and staff wages maintenence to stamford bridge etc. and incomings such as gate receipts and merchandise. Its just in this case the outgoings are more than the incomings.
Quite simple really, Chelsea are spending more money on new players, wages etc. than they are making from ticket receipts, sposorship etc. It doesn't matter that they have an owner that is prepared to bank role the club, or underwrite its debts. The accounts are still in a negative balance situation with more outgoing than incoming cash.
Being able to write off huge losses is also an excellent way of laundering 'questionable' money . . .
ITS A HUGE GREAT RUSSIAN TAX FIDDLE..
