Should big teams like Chelsea and Man Utd be allowed to lose?
I'm not a fan of any team but it seems wrong when a big team loses. Should they be given 3 penalties or something if they're losing towards the end of a game? It just doesnt seem right.

All teams lose at some time or the other no matter how good they are and usually it's to a team they wouldn't expect to beat them like Southend last night against Manchester United./

no because thats just favouring the bigger club... say for example a non premiership team . eg. Leyton Orient or whoever.played a bigger team eg. liverpool, chelski, man utd etc. and Leyton Orient played considerably better and even the opposing team knew it. would it still be fair if ,because LFC of UTD. etc. were a bigger team, they got allowed to win.. just isnt right. if they are a "big" team they should win.. if they dont it is down to the other team being better on the day thus deserving that win :)
Chelsea Arsenal and Rangers. I take it the refs didn't read their big-team-briefer which encourages them to let all these teams away with murder and award them penalties just for being household names! What a Gr8 day for British Football!

That's the point of football. When the whistle goes it's eleven vs eleven, regardless of whether you are a big club or a tiny amateur club.
If the big club loses, then it means a lot of things. It can mean they weren't their best on the day, or it can simply mean that the smaller team is just much more determined and the bigger team couldn't be bothered.
Matches are decided by what you do on the pitch, not by things outside of the pitch.
Are you seriously asking this question? You might as well remove all the other teams from the league and just have those two clubs contest for top spot.

i think clubs like man utd,chelsea,arsenal etc should be made to field at least 8 local born players, if not then they should be wound up .
they should only allow supporters who live within a 10 mile radius of the ground to support them if not then they should be wound up
they should also only be allowed to play in the premiership for 5 years then have to drop into league 2
yeah they should lose sometimes - the mighty should fall sometimes - that way its fair - its like real life - spurs winning it happens that way sometimes

after that physical game agnasit barca.chelsea had no energy.without a good goalkeeper.as a chelsea fan i dont supposed them to win.they were tired.
