Is C.Tevez & J.Mascareno right for west ham united?
I mean im a west ham fan but it seems by there arrival we have kind of lacked a little in games, would you see this as a reason why?
Answers:
no i dont think so,you have lost your way with these guys, there great players but it seems to have unbalanced the team,i think they will improve when Dean Ashton comes back,i think he is the missing link,i am a Dundee united supporter by the way.
maybe you should ask is west ham united right for C.Tevez & J.Mascareno?
yes
They are definately not right for West Ham, they are way too big to be at such a small club. I'm not saying that West Ham is a small club in any terms, but when such big players come to a small club like in this instance, the weight and expectations fall upon the new players, and they cannot cope with it. Also, the team never really had any large players, and were always used to playing as a team, and not as individuals like they are now. Furthermore, the controversy in which the players arrived has not exactly helped the way that the players have settled in.
I think if you give them a little bit of time, and the team begins to play as a team and not as individuals, i'm sure that theyll be back on their winning ways.
No you need miracle workers.
you have to remember these two players are young and have been taken away from home into a foreign strange country with a different culture. If they settle they will take West Ham to success but if not Alan Pardew will move them on
West Ham have dropped players like Benyoun who were so critical for them last year.
I also wonder about the locker room. For instance players like Harewood, Reo-Coker and others who maybe upset with such strong competition coming in.
yup..
i dont think so,he should go to a bigger clubs..
They are great signings for any clubs, but I think it has too much negative impact in the dressing room. And also they have yet to adapt to the pace of premiership
They are good signings but as they are world class, pardew is almost forced to play them every game instead of playing perhaps not a better player, but a better team player who knows west ham and what they are about. So yes they are good signings but no, they are not right for west ham, anyway look at the stats, west ham has not won since they have joined and they havent scored.
I think there's every chance that they will turn out to be fantastic signings for the club - they are still settling, and the question with them as players is whether they will eventually settle or not. It's early days, and many south americans haven't settled over here (Veron for example), but they have incredible quality for sure.
More concerning is the effect that signing these players has had on the club - the noise surrounding all of this may in turn make the players less likely to settle.
On ability alone, they're great signings - now it's down to the political stuff and whether they can deal with England and English football
I think our problem is that from the beginning we have treated them like they are bigger than the club, yes it is big step up in class for us but no player should be bigger then any club (Beckham - Manchester) I do feel however that people are expecting to much of them too soon they have barely been in England for a month which is less time then shevchenko and he isn't looking in great form either. If they do manage to settle in London which is hard for all South Americans (Veron) they will be great, but lets give them time to settle in before we criticise them.
