Why do scottish football fans like missing the start of matches?
Turned up at the stadium yesterday at 14:50 and queued until 15:15.(missed goals). the crowd were raging at the shambolic organisation at the turnstiles, BUT. why do so many fans insist on leaving pubs 10 mins before kick-off, then wonder why there are big queues. GET IN EARLY YA DOBBERS!
Answers:
yes a bit of to late mate about the Scotland match, but you have also to blame the shambles that is the parkhead turnstyle system,
it breaks down more times than bobo baldy,
its a bit like the rest of the park,, looks good sounds good but built on the cheap..
get your act together selik and stop penny pinching,,
Scotland should never play another tie there untill they prove they are capable of doing it properly .
yours,, a life long thistle fan..
they cant tell the time
Wotcha, it's Scottish football, innit?
I mean, that's reason enough to queue up late.
West End Massive!

For they are the Nigels.
And how we love to laugh at them.
Its not just in Scotland this happens it a British thing we all think is we leave late they will be no queue but everyone has the same idea so it dont work , best bet is to get there early and have a drink in the ground
Some were on the radio moaning about roadworks..So maybe they got held up by roadworks and then had to deal with the shambolic organisation of the turnstiles.
Just so you know, we had a 2 hour drive to the ground and left 3 hours early. We got there in plenty of time but had to queue for half an hour for tickets, then it took another 15 mins getting into the ground. We got in at 15.14 and had missed the first two goals, we don't like missing the start of matches, but when you got Rocksteady marshalling it then you can't really expect to stand a chance of getting in on time.
Cos they were all finishin' their drinks and the bottles of Buckie..x
why turn up at 14:50 when the game kicks off at 15:00 when going to any football game u are advised to be there at least 1 hour before kick off Celtic park was opened at 13:30 so if u had turned up early you wouldn't have missed any goals or even start of game the problem with the turnstiles is the people using them not the turnstiles
PS don't work for rocksteady
Its not the fans fault if you ask me. But the Stinking Football organiseres. They should know that people like drinkin around here and kickoff 15 minuts after it was planned!
Booze and football are inseparable in Scotland with many feeling they have to go to the match tanked. They then pitch up as you say and blame anything and everything for not getting in on time.Against that however there were traffic hold ups just outside Stirling and that also contributed to the late arrivals. It is all a question of what do you want-To see the match or shove a few more pints down your throat. If it is the former then leave on time and if it is the latter dont blame anyone but yourself.
Beer's more important than watching Scotland any day.
who cares...parkhead is a piggery!
Why miss a good beer or scotch when goals are a dime a dozen in the Scottish leagues?

We dinnae like turning up late - it's jist the turnstyles wur a shambles and the traffic wus mince
